Hello again painting fans.


This week I will be continuing with the painting of the 2 Cape May, New Jersey houses.  I am using my usual acrylic paints on an 8×8 inch gallery-wrapped canvas.  The photo that I’m using appears directly below.

When last seen, the photo appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time, I have continued to work on the painting.

It was a tough week for painting but I did manage a few updates.  I covered the remaining white unpainted areas of the canvas.  The areas at the base of the homes are now fortified with the brown seen in other parts of the painting.  The windows have a thin layer of paint in preparation of things to come.  I added the blue green color to the trim of the house on the right.  For purposes of consistency, I’ve carried this color to the house on the left and to the structure on the far left side.  Note the the trim will be reshaped as I paint the body color.
