A-Well…July 4th has always been known and celebrated as Independence Day, right? How can one be simultaneously “independent” and without effective privacy? Is a young child living with its parents in any way to be considered “independent?” No, the parents are watching that child like hawks if they are good parents. They wipe its ass; they tell it what to eat, how to act, when to go to bed and when to wake up; they monitor its every movement for years.
We are now being watched by hawks.
