   My middle son has lived in Charlotte for the last two years, working for Habitat for Humanity. He hates the political scene down there and has always voted absentee. He just left this week to move to New York, where he will be working with a federal agency that has been set up to do flood relief and rebuilding from damage done by Hurricane Sandy. He could also have worked for the regional Habitat there, but they don’t provide housing and he couldn’t have afforded it.

   He hopes New York has a better Democratic climate. 🙂

   We’re in Hell. Simple as that. In one session of the Legislature, they’ve turned us into South Carolina. In a few more years, we’ll be Mississippi.
