I thought this might be appropriate. I hope they have a good time – Yosemite would be a wonderful trip.
Way better than my trip to Dallas today. :/ At least it’s only overnight…
Ah, the fabled “road less traveled”. I wish we could save some of the gorgeous weather we’re having for when they return. It was 58F at our back door this morning, clear and low humidity. Quite unusual for southern Indiana in late July.
It was almost fall-like weather this morning. I was tempted to grab a sweatshirt in the morning. Lovely!
And now I’m in Texas, where they actually have a George Bush turnpike (blargh). Very interesting dinner this evening, talking about Anthony Weiner and Tiger Woods and transplantations gone awry…
What an interesting mix of topics;-)
Transplant surgeons are an interesting bunch, I think. 🙂
I’m still hungry, though. :/
I won’t ask what was on the menu…
A nice chianti and some fava beans…
Lovely photo, CG!
It’s Andi’s, but thanks!
How is your summer going? Vacation time yet?
Vacation is later on for us. It’s the b2 boy’s last summer in camp, unless he goes back as a junior counselor. You know, you’re way overdue for a Finny shot. 😉
Oh no, he’s almost all grown up! 😉
And yes, I need to post a Finny pic, because he is growing up way too fast too. I will pull out the camera tomorrow.
A lovely Monday. We had a nice weekend, went for a bike ride near Washington’s Crossing, along the canal trail there on Saturday afternoon, and then up to Princeton for a favorite pizza and ice cream dinner. 🙂
How is everyone today?
Not feeling too bad, considering the oral surgery I had earlier this afternoon. Still a bit woozy from the IV sedation, but so far no appreciable pain. The doc did a really good job, from what I can tell now. Nowhere else to go this week but up;-)
May it remain painless, ID.
Thanks b2! Feeling pretty good so far.
Sounds like maybe it went better than you were expecting? I hope the pain stays away.
So far over-the-counter pain meds seem to be taking care of it. When the surgeon remarked he would have to break the tooth up to remove it, it did cause a small bit of anxiety. I slept through the whole thing, though:-)
I saw this story about Yosemite in the NYT yesterday, and thought of the Fs and their vacation. I can’t wait to see pictures from their trip! I went there about 25 years ago, and it was gorgeous. Wish I could go back.
The cafe is usually my first stop every day, so naturally I noticed the absence of Andi’s Monday photo. I’m looking forward to some Yosemite shots too.
I actually took pictures this afternoon so I’d have something to upload in her absence. 🙂
Stay tuned…
Got humps for tomorrow?
Looking forward to them.
JJ Cale left us last Friday. RIP.
