Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the painting of the Porsche 928. The photo that I am using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 11×14 gallery-wrapped canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time, I have continued working on the painting.
I have addressed many different elements for this week’s installment. I’ve repainted the shadows below the Porsche and along the building. There is still some blue in the color but it does not come through in the photo. As to the open car door, it now has glass, highlights and a mirror. The building now has a reflection that shows the driver’s side of the car on the newly painted glass doors. There is also graphics on those doors. Finally, I’ve painted a small cloud to the far rear. I now consider this painting complete.
The current and final state of the painting is seen directly below.
I’ll have a new painting to show you next week. See you then.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.
Paint me a picture of your thoughts.
With the blue in the horizon, I get the feel of being near a pier (which of course is always a great sort of place to be in my humble opinion). I love the detail you added this week. Gives the entire work a very realistic feel. Well done.
Thanks DD! Maybe it just arrived at the pier on the boat from Europe. Works for me.
The change from last week to this is huge with those little details. I think the cloud was a nice touch. 🙂
Thanks CG! I actually added the cloud because madame boran thought that the outside was inside, and vice versa. 😉
I love it! – reminds me of some fabulous times.
Thanks for this series, it’s my fave online adventure.
Thanks Alice!
boran2,
Another car for your car series & another canvas in your sales inventory.
Great work.
Thanks Knucklehead!
