In a recent post (In Loving Memory – RIP Miriam Carey) regarding the woman who was killed on Oct. 3rd in Washington, DC after she lost it and tried to break through the White House barriers in her SUV with a one year old child in it, Oui wrote:

Now aside from the fact that we have no actual proof that she was in some way insane other than by observing her actions…possibly the only real proof of insanity available to any of us despite the ongoing babbling of the so-called mental health experts who seem to think that mental and emotional “illnesses” can be cured or at least controlled by massive infusions of unproven drugs…here is what is happening in Surveillance State America at the present time.

The weakest among us are being driven batshit crazy…a street technical term that is more accurate on many levels than any diagnosis ever handed down by a psychiatrist…by this monolithic corporate surveillance state, Oui. Dealing with what is happening here…the constant drumbeat of “HOTTEST THING EVER!!!” news, of media-created and propagated fear and crushing economic pressure…is creating a geometric progression of insanity in the population. Every time one of those weak ones goes over the edge, hundreds and thousands more step a little closer to the brink. Eventually the entire system is going to fall apart if things do not change. For every desperate person who snaps out there are thousands who simply give up, who snap in, into an internal depression that progressively robs them of their ability to function well as human beings. No amount of counseling or drugs will work on these people because what happens to them actually makes sense on some level. We are being run as slaves by a machine that does not really care about anything except the bottom line and uses that bottom line as its primary weapon to hold those slaves in bondage. Only by understanding the true nature of what is happening…the Terminator/Skynet-like system that is now almost totally running our lives…can we stop this progressive decline, and I see no developments that make me think the general public has a clue about its real position in the system. They know that “something is wrong,” but their minds are too well clouded by the mass media for them to be able to see what is really happening. I can offer no solution except for this one idea…that those of us who do have some understanding of what is going on must daily try to tell as many others about it as we can possibly manage to reach. We must each of us become digital Paul Reveres.

Does this sound a little…extreme? Then so be it. We are in extreme danger. The machines are not only “coming”…they are already here. Bet on it.
Even some of the machines…partial machines, soft machines in the words of William Burroughs…are not really aware of their role.
Bet on that as well.
