Will Bunch wonders why we tolerate corruption until we don’t.
We seem to have plenty of money to build nuclear-armed submarines that can “house 16 Trident II D5 missiles fired from 44-foot-long missile tubes,” but Mitch McConnell says it would be irresponsible to pay our bills on time.
Did you see William Galston’s piece on a center-left plan for Social Security and Medicare?
How many responses to the State of the Union speech should the Republicans have? Is three enough, or do they need more?
Having lived through the real thing, about the last place on Earth I would ever want to be is in a museum dedicated to 9/11. Asking me to pay 24 bucks to get in? Nahgunnahappen.
Did you know that Paul Simon was on AZAPO’s hit list, and that Stevie Van Zandt got him off of it?

Is it me or or does Galston sound, again, like the corporate tool he is?

It’s really breathtaking watching the NJ scandals pile up. How did I miss AshBritt? Sure gives perspective to Haley Barbour’s defense of Christie. I’m beginning to think Christie is not only worse than his predecessors but figured since he came from the ranks of the US Attny office he would know how to hide his arm twisting. There’s so many audits and investigations now that by summer even the air in NJ won’t be fit to breathe. Of course the great part is how much can be traced right over to the Rep Party itself.
3/29/13 FEMA warned Christie administration that AshBritt contract could jeopardize federal funding

Because the New Jersey Democratic Party decided to stab their candidate in the back.
A close friend’s former classmate (who’s still in touch with my friend) ran her campaign. The way my friend tells it, she’s very, very bitter about the state Dems’ role in undermining their own candidate and working behind the scenes to ensure Christie’s re-election. And that was before the Hindenburg’s latest round of explosions.
Wonder how long it’ll be before she gives someone a lengthy interview saying the same things.
btw I looked at the exit polling data; what they did to Buono had the effect of depressing dem. turnout and putting the registered independents[a sizable % of voters] in Christie’s column.
What’s on my mind?

They’re attempting to have the number of responses match the number of ACA repeal votes.
so watching it will be sort of like staying up all night watching election returns. maybe they’ll have some of the senate candidates do responses as well.
