I see (IIRC, from TPM) that some red-state GOPers are trying to mandate photo-IDs for people using SNAP benefits, all in the name of reducing fraud.
..and that, unlike the non-existent in person voter impersonation fraud, there is some small amount of SNAP fraud.
Sooo…how about the following: have the SNAP cards (sort of like debit cards?) have a photo, expiration date, etc, so that they can ALSO be used as a government-provided ID?
Like an ID for voting, for example.
