Life intervened today. Not in any particularly bad way, mind you, just in many little ways that chewed up all my time. Most of my evening is already reserved for non-blogging activities, so I feel like this will be one of my least productive weekdays of my nearly tens years of doing this.
It’s an election night, and there will plenty to think about and write about once the returns are all in. I’m looking forward to that because sometimes it seems lately like the only thing to discuss is how stupid everything is.
I’ve been trying to keep a lot of balls in the air recently, writing here and at the Washington Monthly, editing the Washington Monthly, designing a new site (more on that soon), and it looks like today the balls just dropped.
So it goes.
