   Jefferson and Adams died on the same Fourth in 1826.

     C’mon, that’s giving the Koch-heads and Mellon entirely too much credit.

     So..back to Mellon…was a lightning bolt involved? Did a shadowy figure enter the room to claim his soul as part of a longstanding bargain? Did the shadowy figure look like Cheney?

       Question:
       I cannot get embed to work here, though the very same steps I try here work at the Orange Place; any suggestions for what am doing wrong? how to fix?

         Are you using the old embed code or the new?  Some sites only work with the old code.  Sometimes YouTube will offer a choice; other times — I think it depends on your computer’s operating system — it won’t.

           thanks, it definitely didn’t work with the new embed code, I got error messages. but the old code, that starts and ends with “object” worked on kos but not here. I tried a few times. I know our comments have a couple formats – html, automatic and plain text. I think I tried all of them. maybe not?

           yes, that’s it. well I ‘lljust keep trying. I’m using an old version of Safari and sites complain about that alot, maybe has something do to with it.

           Rather than trying to set up the code I just copied and pasted the old-embed code from YouTube — is that what you’re doing or are you manually coding the link?

   Depends on the children, of course.  Mr. Koch (John Birch)left a mountain of money to his money grubbing sons.  Hopefully, that won’t happen here.

   One less sworn enemy that Clinton won’t have to “meet” with to grovel for an endorsement in 2016.

   In fact, what I only discovered late this evening, when Eric Kleefeld sent me this link at National Review Online, is that not only was it Scaife’s paper. Scaife himself was there sitting just to Clinton’s right apparently taking part in the questioning.

     Such a great Snoopy moment. Reminds me of my dad’s memorial service where I served only root beer. Lined up at the ‘open bar’ were 4 dear old widows, all leaning heavily on their walkers. They got their mugs then started to dance, the walkers got tangled and I remember screaming, ‘WALKERS!’ and the youngins all raced over to catch the merry ladies.
