Hottest-thing-ever number two million, five hundred thousand and one!!!

Brian Williams lied!!! (Or…maybe he just misremembered.)

I CALL BULLSHIT!!!

Brian Williams’s so-called “memory” is not where the story lies. Neither are his little, self-promoting half-truths. The story itself lies. Williams is a paid hack for a media system that is built upon lies. He made a living as a liar. These few little “factual errors” that have floated up out of the sewer of his mind are the least important of all of his lies. The real problem is that they threaten his status as a media front man/teller-of-truths.

Read on for more.
The media is built upon lying.

First of all, it is sponsored by lies. Advertising is the art of lying about the goodness/attractiveness/necessity of your product. No lies, no programs. Simple as that.

Secondly, most of its shows are constructed around lies of one kind or another.

Fiction is a lie. If it’s fiction it didn’t happen.

Quiz shows are regularly fixed, or at least they were for many years. So are so-called “reality” shows. All of them. If there’s more than one way to skin a cat there is also more than one way to fix one. Bet on it.

The news…as more and more people are finally beginning to WTFU realize…consists almost entirely of official, barefaced lies. The contemporary American culture that has been largely constructed by the government media complex is nothing but a collection of lies. All men, women, children and whatever other collectivist grouping you might consider using are not created equal, nor are they treated “equally” under any form of government known to mankind. Our “democracies” are not really democratic. Our health system is not healthy and our educational system is not meant to educate, it is only meant to sustain a class system and nothing more. About the only thing in the media that is not totally based on lying is athletics. The games and athletes themselves are lied about, but the athletes are actually performing those feats of strength and daring.

Of all of the current big time centrist front men/front women/liars, Williams and his ever-present sneer was by far the most repulsive in my opinion. He was almost reptilian in his delivery and I am glad to see him go. But his lying/misremembering/self-promotion etc. is not the problem. The problem is endemic to the system as it now stands. Our politicians lie to us on a minute-to-minute basis.

How can you tell when a politician is lying? When you see its lips move.

“Read my lips.”

From that well-respected, historically lie-prone rag, Time Magazine.:

That pledge was the centerpiece of Bush’s acceptance address, written by speechwriter Peggy Noonan, for his party’s nomination at the 1988 Republican National Convention.

And what does liar Noonan do now?

Why…she writes lies for The Wall Street Journal, of course. And what does that almost too accurately named rag do? It attempts to create a wall of silence regarding the machinations of America Inc. by…by lying, of course. It lies so loudly that you can’t hear anything else. A special kind of silence.

The American Silence

We listen to so much noise that we can’t hear a goddamned thing.

Wake the fuck up.

Turn the media off.

Step away from that TV with your brains in the air.

And…fuck Brian Williams.

He ain’t shit.

We will now return to our previously scheduled lie…errr, ahhh…program.

Thank you and do not go gently into that…

“Say goodnight, Gracie.”

“Good night, Gracie.”

Goodnight.

Yours truly…
