Chapter and verse about Giuliani’s family, personal history, political history and business practices. Odd that da mare doesn’t get asked about any of this by fawning millionaire journalists on the teevee. Must be too obscure for their research people to find out about.
Actually, I was. I knew about the love pad and that, but how did this guy become a Presidential contender without this family history coming out? How did he become mayor of New York? (OK, Newark I could see)
noun verb 9/11
ppl around here doubted he could succeed in a national election – for example, when he left Donna Hanover he moved in with a gay couple, lived with them for quite a while iirc.
But as for his father, wow! draft dodger in WWII? that’s some lacking in conscience – speaking of which I know someone who was a C.O. in WWII because he’s a Quaker, and he stills questions his faith based decision not to fight
A good friend of mine was a C.O. in Vietnam, he was Corpsman and had just as good a chance as being killed as the infantrymen, maybe more. Another good friend went to Canada. He didn’t return until the Carter amnesty, nor did he agitate for the amnesty. Many more friends were combat soldiers in Vietnam. I do not question the actions of any of them because they all made their decisions based on their principles and were willing to face the consequences.
To be a chickenhawk is something else.
As for those who wonder what I did, well I had a high number and just waited for the letter that never came. If it came, I would have gone. I didn’t volunteer because I saw it as the second coming of the Korean war. I was wrong. It was worse.
That’s the whole point of using projection. Deflecting your own sins. When you have so many sins, it’s easier to project onto others. Or so it seems from anecdotal observation, anyway.
Yes, like Bill O’Reilly going after Brian Williams for exaggerating or lying about his time in an actual war zone. Bill-O always forgot to mention that he was only 1,200 miles away from combat.

Reporters skip the research process and merely repeat what other news folks have said or written.
But I’m certainly not surprised, and I’ll bet you aren’t either.

Chickenhawks suck.
Based on the article, just like his dad.
Thank you Mr. Barrett!
What an odious excuse for a human being Giuliani is.

… 9/11.
You forgot the noun and verb…
He’s a perfect Republican candidate.
