Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the large gabled Victorian. The photo I am using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 10 by 10 inch gallery-wrapped canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
I made some limited progress this week. I’ve continued to move toward the foundation of the house. Paint has been applied to the shadowed portions of the porch. Below that, the foundation has received some paint as well. The colors are a bit odd as the paint was rather thin. Some red was added to the brick bay window foundation. Finally, I’ve begun the foliage on either side of the house. I still need to finalize the location of some elements. After that, I can add heavier layers of paint.
