Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be continuing with the large gabled Victorian. The photo I am using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 10 by 10 inch gallery-wrapped canvas.

When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

Starting on the left side of the building, the bay window has been given some additional details.  These are seen just above the foundation which has also been further refined.  Note the color change made to the windows.  That may change yet again before this painting is done.  In fact, all the windows have received the same treatment.  The front porch has been refined as well.  The top is now mostly in shadow.  The base has been repainted with the stone piers now making their initial appearance.  Finally, the posts/pillars now have a crisp appearance.

The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

I’ll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.
