Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the large gabled Victorian. The photo I am using is seen directly below. I will be using my usual acrylics on an 10 by 10 inch gallery-wrapped canvas.
When last seen, the painting appeared as it does in the photo directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
I’ll start at the top. The left side chimney now has a widened top similar to the one in the photo. Above, clouds now peek out on the left and right of the house. Moving down to the base of the house, the flower bed now wraps around the house. in the distance, the front path now leads up to the porch. Behind the house, the shrubs in the distance have been repainted with light and dark areas. Finally, the front lawn has repainted as well. The painting is now finished.
The current and final state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
