Especially for me — live directly across the street from the polling place. Will do so after work today.
Done. Will be interesting to see if we legalize marijuana today in Ohio.
Um… there are elections today? In Wisconsin or someplace else?
It’s not that hard. You can figure it out.
Ha. Sure, whatever man. I couldn’t find anything about it here, so I guess not.
Sure, do I get free garbage cans from my precinct captain?
My excuse is that, in this town in Western Mass where I live, there isn’t any office or measure on the ballot this year.
In fact, there’s no ballot. So if I went to vote, the town clerk would look at me funny. Not that it would be the first time she did.
(JK. She’s a genuinely nice person and a good town clerk.)
Yes Sir!!
I an in Virginia
Dropped my ballot in the mailbox this morning. Lots of fun stuff on the SF ballot, mostly related to housing.
Mailed it in last week. Small local elections on ballot only. Two for city council, two for school board. The usual not entirely unexpected negative and false advertising by the two developer-backed candidates.
Seems like the local candidates would get more attention if they folded their election into an even-year one. I would imagine the percent voting will be very small. My slender mail-in ballot nearly got tossed aside with the other non-essential mail.
I voted for Bernie Sanders today. Let me explain. Our town supervisor and 3 judges ran as unopposed Republicans. I added Bernie to the write in section, not having the stomach to vote for those unopposed Rs. On the other races I voted D.
Voted.
Mayor, 3 city council members.
Poll worker reminded people that they will need a photo ID next year. (Unless the court does the right thing.)
I predict that next year many many voters will say “No one ever told me!”.
We voted here over two weeks ago the wife and I filled them out and dropped them in the big box two blocks away! Stay smart read the voters pamphlet then mark your ballots, always VOTE!
Many of my fellow veterans gave their all for you to have the right to vote. Support veterans by voting!
