Went on the net this morning and saw a story from the Washington Examiner about CNN boss Jeff Zucker and the decision by his network, among others, to push Donald Trump down the throats of listeners everywhere. Zucker said in the interview that “The front-runner of the party is always going to get a disproportionate amount of attention”.
Really Mr. Zucker?? as I recall, there is a certain Democratic front-runner named Hillary Clinton that doesn’t get anywhere near the amount of attention that Trump gets. Maybe you don’t realize that, because if you did, your statement you made really doesn’t make a heck of a lot of sense.
Now I don’t know about you, but I would like to hear something else leading the newscast except Donald Trump. Just looking at the man makes me want to vomit, but there are other candidates out there in both parties who would really like to at least get mentioned in the first 50 minutes of an hour long news segment.
To news outlets, Trump is like a slow motion car crash, and I understand that Trump is a ratings winner, but after a while, people get repulsed and sickened by seeing the same thing over and over again.
The media doesn’t like to admit this, but Trump is controlling them. They are only too happy to being led around by Trump, salivating on every word he says. Led by Fox News, the considerable amount of free airtime given to Trump plays right into his hands.
It’s time for the media to get a grip. Donald Trump maybe the front-runner, but this constant Trump 24/7 coverage is pathetic. The media is being played for the suckers they are.
