The Clinton Campaign needs to hit Trump hard on the Russians and his taxes. Trump’s entire argument is that he is a straight shooter who tells it like it is, and it’s based on two gigantic falsehoods. Hopefully the Clinton Campaign hammers on these points over and over until Donald gets upset and lashes out. I think that would do it. He doesn’t have any good answer for either, and they’ll be prepping like mad for the same issue but about the foundation. Not that they shouldn’t land a couple hits there too. But the Russians and taxes are the angle. The man is a complete fraud and probably bought off. Let’s get him.

Just laughable … Russians and taxes.
US elections are never decided on foreign policy, not even when Bush announced the Iraq War and Democrats feared for mid-term backlash and just rolled over in the fall of 2002. Hillary first.
Voters will choose by their pocketbook … it’s still jobs, inequality and the economy. On policy terms of this year’s election, Clinton is not in the advantage. Don’t get your hopes up about the debate, you just may see the same disappoinment as 8 years ago with Barack Obama.
Liberals are pulling out their hair trying to figure out why Hillary Clinton has a lower trustworthiness rating than Trump despite the latter lying constantly. And I don’t think you guys will ever figure this out on your own, so I’ll just straight-up tell you.
When Trump lies, it’s seen to be for the benefit of or at least not antagonistic to his base. That’s his entire schtick; that he’ll do whatever it takes, by hook or by crook, to get into power so he can cut his supporters the deal of a lifetime.
When Clinton lies, it’s seen just for the benefit of herself. Trump lies about his political record or his taxes or organized crime associations, his supporters don’t really see it impacting his ability to deliver the stuff they care about. Clinton lies just not for personal benefit, not just at the expense of her supporters, but her lies also feed into the memeplex about the political elites basically forming into one giant blob who protect each other and want to screw over the little guy. Her evasive ‘I’m not technically lying, I just forgot super-hardcore’ answers to the e-mail server does more to erode trust in voters than hundreds of Trump’s lies about how badass and rich and intersectional he is.
If you really want to take Trump down with it ‘but he lies so much!’ angle, you need to show how his lying paints a picture of him stabbing the herrenvolk in the back once he gets into power. Which shouldn’t be very hard. That is, more shit about Trump University and eminent domain and about how he doesn’t want to raise minimum wage.
Other thing is: I have no idea why liberals are so completely obsessed with the ‘look at how stuuuupid and dangerous my opponent is’ debate tactic. It didn’t work for Carter, Mondale, Gore, Romney, or Kerry. And it’s not going to work for Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton should focus on making a positive case for herself. That’s it. If she uses the debate podium to try to deliver epic takedownz, she’s both wasting her time and digging her grave.
