Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Nyack, New York 2nd Empire Victorian. The photo I’m using is seen directly below. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 inch canvas.
When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
There are some big changes for this week’s cycle. Most prominently, there are those porch posts. Those in the light now appear in white. Note the connecting railing, also in white. Shadowed porch posts appear in blue as does the roof of the second story balcony. Finally, the shadowed front windows have been refined and detailed.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
