Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Nyack, New York 2nd Empire Victorian. The photo I’m using is seen directly below. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 inch canvas.
When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
Most notable amongst this week’s changes are the windows on the lit/right side of the house. I’ve added the trim in white and glass in blue. I’ve also done the same with the door to the in the recessed section. Note the arched window above the door. I’ve also added another layer of paint to the driveway.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
I’ll have more progress to show you next week. See you then.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.
Check the board for today’s specials.
I’ll have a grilled cheese and extra pickles…been a while since I’ve been here. How goes it?
Sorry about your ankle. I’m dealing with tennis elbow after a summer of racket sports. Gotta go get my ice pack soon. Aging sucks.
Um, it appears someone else was signed in on my computer…
Oh, never mind my comment above.
I’ve passed your condolences along…
Good to see you. As you can see, since the official Cafe/Lounge closed, we’ve been trying to get a bit creative. 🙂
Love what you’ve done with the place, b2!
What’s up?
.
Just running errands. Transporting one kid to a choir audition for regionals and doing the usual weekend chores. Par for the course.
Bought a new coffee machine after what must be a decade. The old one is beyond cleaning anymore and makes coffee that is pretty skanky
It’s not allowed in our house. Wife’s a dentist.

I couldn’t live without my daily morning cup.
Same here.
