Here is the inaugural comeback of the Friday Foto Flogs that so many nurtured years ago (Bob X, olivia, etc.). This month’s edition is skylines. Although I am thinking primarily in terms of urban skylines, the term can be broadly applied to skylines of rural towns as well.

The photo above is of the downtown Chicago skyline. I took that one while doing one of those boat tours that takes tourists around the Navy Pier area and allows a chance to take in a panoramic view of Lake Michigan and Chicago. Nice way to spend part of my last day in the city once all the workshops and seminars were done. I love photography and have been an amateur hobbyist for a good long while. I mostly enjoy landscape photography. This photo was taken with a Samsung Galaxy 6 mobile phone. I have a decent collection of photos taken with my old 35 mm that I hope to scan in some day.

So, please share some of your own work with us. Try as best as possible to minimize width for the sake of all who visit the frog pond. I am trying Photobucket for now. If you have a host that works better for you, feel free.

In the meantime, enjoy.

See you the second Friday in January – the theme will be paths and walkways.
