It is a historical fact the 9/11 attack on America, symbol of the free world, was exploited by the State of Israel to split civilization between “Western culture” and the terrorists “Islamic culture”. Fear Inc. and Islamophobia is on the rise and created the opening for fascism, populism and nationalism after the banking and financial crisis of 2008. The European far-right and anti-immigration parties developed as anti-establishment voices which led to the LEAVE vote in the UK Brexit referendum and the upset vistory for Trumpism in the US presidential election.
Israel and especially PM Netanyahu took this policy one step too far, sticking in to US president Barack Obama. Bibi overplaying his hand which gets him wide criticism from an otherwise tranquile opposition in Israel.
Stepping over the warm body of a current US leadership | CS Monitor |
The Israeli ambassador to the United States said President-elect Donald Trump’s promise [NYT] to move the US embassy to Jerusalem would encourage peace with the Palestinians, an argument that runs counter to warnings such an action would inflame the region.
Ron Dermer‘s comments appeared more forceful than remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who, while long vowing to keep Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, seems to be waiting to see what policies Trump implements, according to the Associated Press.
Democrats in the room, several of whom still serve in the Obama administration, were furious over Dermer’s comments. They told The Jerusalem Post they questioned why Dermer was acting, while the “body [of the current US leadership] was still warm.”
The Obama administration has followed other presidential administrations in saying the city’s status must be negotiated, as the Democratic National Committee explained during the 2012 election.
“The Obama Administration has followed the same policy towards Jerusalem that previous US administrations of both parties have done since 1967,” a DNC statement said, according to the Jewish Telegraph Agency. “As the White House said several months ago, the status of Jerusalem is an issue that should be resolved in final status negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians.”

David Friedman to be New U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Kahanists Now Control U.S.-Israel Relations
Pres.-elect Trump is rounding out his cabinet nicely. So far, four generals, one multinational CEO, a billionaire who wrecked the Detroit school system-the list goes on. But it’s indicative of the importance Trump attributes to Israel that he tonight named his new ambassador there.
… we now are privileged to know that U.S. interests are in the hands of an avowed supporter not just of Israel, but settler-Israel. David Friedman, who has no experience in diplomacy or international relations; and whose expertise is in bankruptcy law, will be bringing peace to the Middle East according to the happy-talk press release distributed by the transition team. He does have one invaluable personal experience which justifies his appointment according to the press release announcing it: he celebrated his bar mitzvah at the Kotel! Baruch ha-Shem!
He has called the liberal Zionist group, J Street, “kapos.” He has denied its Jewish supporters are even Jews. He is the president of a foundation supporting the radical settlement of Bet El. Every major media headline notes that he is even more extreme in his views than Bibi Netanyahu. This is the ultimate triumph of Kahanism . It has literally taken over U.S. policy. Meir Kahane isn’t spinning in his grave. He’s doing the hora!
Friedman’s inaugural statement noted his joy at being the first U.S. ambassador to represent his country in Israel’s “eternal capital, Jerusalem.” There is no doubt construction will commence immediately on the new embassy compound on land purchased for that purpose in West Jerusalem. Within two years there will be a grand dedication attended by Trump himself to great fanfare and joy.
It’s not a problem according to Dennis Ross …or at least is shouldn’t be. He told the Wall Street Journal:
Practically speaking, moving the embassy to West Jerusalem shouldn’t affect the eventual “final status” of the city because few question whether that area of the city would be part of Israel in any final settlement of the decades-old conflict.
[Dennis Ross the “neutral” broker in both Clinton administrations]As for those Palestinians…ah, who cares about ’em. Let ’em fester. On the dustheap of history. The ungrateful bastards never accepted the crumbs we generously offered them. To Hell with ’em. That will be the Trump approach.

Friedman pick will force good liberal Zionists to admit the peace process has failed | Mondoweiss |
The nomination of an American champion of settlers to be the next U.S. ambassador to Israel is no crisis for rightwing Zionists or anti-Zionists. But it is a crisis for liberal Zionists: they are seeing their dream of a two state solution dying before their eyes.
The nomination is a triumph for rightwing Zionists. They see a way to fully impose their vision of “Jewish democracy” across the land God gave to the Jews, without obstruction from the west.
Daniel Pipes at Commentary lays out the burn-the-village-to-save-it logic at Commentary: “Palestinians Would Benefit from Their Defeat.”
To those who hold Palestinians too fanatical to be defeated, I reply: If Germans and Japanese, no less fanatical and far more powerful, could be defeated in World War II and then turned into normal citizens, why not the Palestinians now?
Friedman’s nomination is also no crisis for anti-Zionists. They long ago told you that “Jewish democracy” is a unicorn and that you can see Jewish democracy in action right now: there is one state between the river and the sea, and Palestinians live under apartheid conditions and worse in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. For anti-Zionists, Friedman’s nomination is a bitter vindication of a reality to which they were long bearing witness, for which Rachel Corrie and Tom Hurndall gave their lives.
○ Netanyahu Has Failed Miserably …
Obama took away Israel’s threat to bomb Iran in 2012 … Netanyahu wasn’t in a thankful mood and continued his rampage in the region by punishing Hamas in a devastating bombardement a year ago. President Obama aims to reshuffle power in the Middle East … a geopolitical earthquake. On France24 a debate over the nuclear negotiations with Iran, one prominent idiot took part so I had to find out where his credentials lie … WINEP. Hillary Clinton’s ME advisor Dennis Ross is part of the club, a pro-Israel lobby group and spin-off from AIPAC.
