I have four covers to share. The first one is Pet Shop Boys covering the Village Peoples “Go West.”
The next is Nouvelle Vague covering The Cure’s “A Forest.”
There is a player piano cover of “A Forest” on the “Westworld” soundtrack, too, but I’m going to share a cover of an even more classic tune from the science fiction series, an orchestral arrangement of The Rolling Stones’ “Paint it Black.”
For the final cover, I turn to Postmodern Jukebox with a 1920s New Orleans style cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop.”
That’s it for now. Time for me to stop playing DJ and start playing bartender. Does anyone have any drink requests?
Enjoy a damn fine cup of covfefe (including Irish covfefe). Please tip your bartenders.
Today is National Coffee Ice Cream Day, so I’m sharing Tipsy Bartender’s Turtle Coffee Milkshake.
