Yes
Either.
But never milk chocolate in baking.
.
Dark chocolate hands down. More nutritious and yet still tasty.
Double the polyphenol content compared to milk chocolate. Boost in antioxidants. Tends to help reduce hypertension, not so much w/milk chocolate. Easier to digest than milk chocolate.
In moderation only.
Also, most importantly, MUCH less added sugar.
Dark. It’s a health food, sort of.
99% Cacao. From Cost Plus World Market.
Dark, always.
Star Wars or Star Trek? DC or Marvel? Chicken or Egg?
Trek, Marvel, basically egg.
My wife introduced me to dark chocolate. I never looked back.
Well, obviously, those who like dark chocolate are not “Real Americans”. After all, what red blooded American would rather have some effete Frenchy sounding dark chocolate than a good old American made Hershey’s milk chocolate bar? No nuts, either. Nuts are for pansies, just like arugula. Nothing but plain old milk chocolate, washed down with a Bud Light while watching Nascar on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. And after that, down to the gun range to run a couple hundred rounds through my trusty Glock 19.
Yessir, makes me wanna break out into a chorus of America The Beautiful!!!
Sexual chocolate
60% dark with orange.
Dark — and the darker the better. Honestly, I’m not even sure why milk chocolate exists.
Serious question indeed.
Dark chocolate for sure, but past about 80% is overdoing it.
Exactly!
Always dark chocolate for me; the more intense the better.
Dark chocolate. With a glass of port wine.
I was at a German chocolate factory and after the tour they brought out about fifteen jars of chips with grades ranging from the whitest to the darkest. Most everyone stuck with one or two similar grades. I had to get me a handful of all of them. I am inquisitive that way.
It depends. There’s a reason why good chocolatiers don’t limit themselves to one or the other. And white chocolate has a place in all this as well. General rule, the more delicate and/or subtle the flavors of the fillings, the lighter the chocolate. Sort of like pairing wines with food.
neither
both set off a desire to consume sugar
Neither. Long live Strawberry Milk!
I need to consume mass quantities of both, with wine, before I can give a definitive answer.
