Hello again painting fans.

This week I will be continuing with the eastern shore of Virginia inn.  The photo that I’m using is seen directly below.  I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 5×7 inch canvas.

When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.

Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.

I have started to paint the body of the house.  The gray paint will be the shadowed areas of the facade.  You’ll have to look closely at the original photo to see these.  The shadows creates a checkerboard effect.  It will make for an interesting painting.  Paint has also been applied to the roof.
