With all the damage Scott has done, and with the many Puerto Ricans in FL, I am surprised he is still ahead of Nelson in many polls.
How will this bring him down a few pegs.

Scott won’t suffer for this. He’ll use this as they always do; after the obligatory but meaningless “thoughts and prayers,” he’ll call for more guns as the solution to yet another shooting. And we’ll see a spike in gun sales.
I just hope that more voters realize now that having republicans in leadership positions is not the answer to solving any problem, let alone these mass shootings that effect every day working people. And that its up to us voters to be the first step in solving this problem. Nothing will be done until we get them out of the way.
It’s too soon to politicize it
School has started here in FL. The level of gun violence in the state is not reported to the public. I suspect there is more gun violence in Fl than in the south side of Chicago.
I realize no place in America is safe from gun nuts but FL and TX go out of their way to embrace gun crazies, which is why I would never consider living in either state. Same with most of the rest of the South.
