Today is one of those days when there is so much news to consume that it’s hard to take a timeout to write. It’s also a Friday, so I have a natural desire to stop working at the end of the day. And my son has another weekend of chess tournaments coming up, including one tonight, so I don’t have the opportunity right now to give you what you deserve, which is a good recap of every crazy thing that has happened today.
We must pause, however, to celebrate that Roger Stone has been convicted on all counts and now faces serious jail time. This is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream of mine and I will cherish this day always even if Trump pulls a Gerald Ford and pardons the bastard.

Please tell me what your highlights were today. I’ll try to reflect on them (much) later tonight.
Best thing today for me — most definitely that bastard Stone getting convicted. Finally, a little taste of justice has been served up to this POS. May there be many more delicious courses to follow (and may the trump gang choke on them).
I also very much liked the transparent failure of the fox news volk to spin the impeachment testimony in a positive way for their fuhrer.
I’m making martinis in Roger’s honor. Here’s to you, Rodge!
Hey, I didn’t realize your son plays chess — hope he is enjoying the tournaments. It is a big commitment for parents to get their kids to these types of events, but so very important. Also a real bond within the family.
I liked the standing O for Yovanovitch. Stone’s conviction and public support for a wronged public servant helps remind me that we aren’t a nation that’s a majority of Deplorables.
Another great moment was when she asked Jordan, after a long-winded mini-lecture, “Is there a question in there?”
Hey Roger, whose side are you on, Trump or Putin? Oh never mind.
