Last cafe we learned that Family Man passed away late last year. Thanks Indianadem for letting us know. Always remember – there are real living, breathing human being beneath the screen names. Family Man had his struggles but seemed to do what he could to make the best of things. That’s enough. That’s all any of us can expect of ourselves. We have a finite amount of time on this aching planet. Let’s use it well. In the meantime, please know that if I ever interacted with you here or at the old Frog Pond, odds are very good I would welcome you with open arms if you we were to cross paths in real life. That’s something you can count on if you want. Til then, you have my words, my photographs, and music that stirs my soul. You have an idea of who I am and what I am made of, and how to memorialize me when I do eventually shuffle off this mortal coil. That should be a while away. But we never know when our number is up.

Looks like we’re back to winter for a couple days. Then spring, Then more winter to end the month. At least the grass is no longer getting greener. Not sure my bulb plants are going to do all that well this year. Reminds me that I have a good deal of replanting to do this spring. Much of what I planted last spring died after being inundated with record rainfalls and then subjected to extreme heat for our area. So, trying again. May just be getting to a point where plants that used to be appropriate for what used to be our climate can no longer survive. We’ll soon see.
I have felt a bit alone here. I am going through some stuff. I will be okay. Some company would be nice.
