This is unbelievable. I saw these images in the LA Times:
First, a picture with a caption reading, “Hospital patient James Anderson of New Orleans spent two days sleeping on a piece of thin cardboard on the floor of New Orleans International Airport.”
And then this image of dogs — DOGS! — being bussed out of the city. Caption reads: “Over 150 dogs and other animals were evacuated from an animal hospital after their owners had left town without them.”
Is this really a country that would take better care of dogs than we do people?! This is beyond disgraceful.
