I don’t see much news that I find very interesting right now. I actually take that to be a good sign. I think it is a shame, but hardly surprising, that the GOP is descending into self-recrimination and self-purging. But I take their refusal to go down without exposing their most nativist and hateful side to be both dangerous and educational. We’ve been trying to make this argument about Republicans for years. It’s odd to see them making it themselves.

Huffington Post brings us Murray Waas reports
Skeletons galore.
LOL. Palling around with the Axis Of Evil!
l don’t think mr. timmons’ job prospects look too good in any regard.
l would posit that in 3 weeks his” transition”position will be moot. mcstain needs no team to transition to a ‘has been’, he’s doing a stellar job of it on his own.
copping a haiku from paul slanksy at huffpo:
No, merely the remains of
John McCain’s “honor.”
one bad move after another…it is truly amazing…it’s like he’s taunting the press, and the obama campaign, to make an issue of it.
hopefully, he’ll get his wish.
Reminds me a bit of when Gary Hart dared reporters to follow him around to try and prove that he wasn’t messing around on his wife. And then of course he goes out and does it (on a boat called “Monkey Business” of all things).
“William Timmons…aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.“
Anyone who did anything under any circumstances at any time toward easing or lifting the genocidal sanctions against Iraq did at least one good thing in his lifetime.
And by the way, the sanctions were not against the regime, they were against the people of Iraq. One only needs to look at some of the barred and blocked items to understand that.
McCain is winning today’s cable narrative du jour with their ACORN smear. Hopefully Anderson, Tweety and the early evening “stars” turn their attention on Saddam lobbyist heading McCain transition team.
Glad I’m not the only one getting tired of politics, three weeks out of the election.
However,
Three weeks?
Get off your ass. There’s a lot to be done, still.
The thing that I feel good about is the fact that there is nothing positive about McCain coming from either his campaign or the media. They are in 100% negative anti-Obama mode, which is a lousy place to be stuck with 20 days left in a Presidential election.
With all of the mess going on, I only have one thing on my mind – Fantasy Football! Yep, I am at the bottom on the heap (Frog Marchers III – 11th but who is counting!) after LOSING by .54! You heard right, .54!! OMG!
I was looking for a ray of hope after seeing my SEP and IRA decrease and I figured, well, there is always Fantasy Football!
Yeah, I was so wrong! So, I plan to cry in my Rum and Ginger Ale and stamp my feet!
LOL! Figure we just to think about something else besides politics every now and then!
Another conservative minority.
