Dubai Dubya-talk

Bush wants to send more American jobs to a foreign government entity. DPW is owned by the GOVERNMENT of DUBAI. And that, friends, is very odd indeed.

The Bush Administration has been unremitingly hostile to one group of workers: government workers.  He used the development of the Department of Homeland Security to break a government union, recently ruled illegal by an appelate court.  He has used the Iraq war to give billions in uncontested and cost-plus contracts to Halliburton.

The Dubai ports deal demonstrates one amazing fact.

George Bush trusts the workers of a foreign government more than he trusts the workers in the American government that he is the head of.

In that way, this deal is a demonstration of Bush’s hatred and dislike of American workers.  He hates and dislikes government workers, and has desperately worked to send jobs away from government workers.

I have never, in my lifetime of 55 years, seen a president who prefered foreign workers over Americans.

Yet Bush, in his recent trip to India, told Americans that Indians deserved the jobs more than Americans.  That was amazing.

The Dubai ports deal is even more amazing.

Bush literally believes that foreign governments in the Mid-East are better than the American government.

That is an amazing development.
