Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night
by Dylan Thomas
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Peace
The carnage continues. From BBC today:
“A US military air raid in western Iraq has caused many deaths, reports from Iraq say.”
“Also on Monday, the US military reported that six US soldiers were killed in two separate incidents.”
.
Killed by insurgents, add to this number the Iraqis killed by U.S. and Coalition forces, plus our own soldiers who have died in Bush | NeoCon adventure in the Middle East, the number of people killed is equivalent to ::
10x
911 attacks on NY and Washington

Pentagon number for Iraqi deaths at the hands of the insurgents from January 2004!
Add the Iragi civilian deaths from March 2003 to the present at the hands of U.S. and coalition troops, the war deaths in the march to Baghdad – multiple of 10,000 deaths – plus the collateral damage by bombing of villages, safe houses and wedding parties up till today.
One easily reaches the dreadful number of 100,000+ [ONEHUNDREDTHOUSAND] Iraqi deaths in this illegal war started by the Bush-NeoCon Cabal in coordination with Blair, Howard and Berlusconi.

BAGHDAD (AFP) – Six US soldiers have been killed in two separate bomb explosions in Iraq, the military said.
Four died when their patrol struck an improvised explosive device in the Yusufiyah district, southwest of Baghdad, on Monday.
And two were killed in an explosion while on patrol near Anaconda base, on the outkirts of Balad, 75 kilometres (45 miles) north of the capital.

A car bomb has exploded in the southern Iraqi city of Basra.
There are reports that at least 20 people have been killed and many injured in the attack.
The blast happened at about 20:30 local time (17:30 GMT), in a commercial area of the British-controlled city containing many shops and restaurants. The area where the blast occurred was packed with families out for the evening during the Ramadan festival.
Although car bombings are common in central and northern Iraq, the south, predominantly populated by Shias, has been comparatively peaceful. However, there has been a recent upsurge in attacks in the region.
Rising violence
The attack appeared to have targeted local police vehicles, two of which were destroyed. Six police officers were reported to be among the dead.

We Have Been Warned
By U.S. Representative Ron Paul (R-TX)
Watch Ron Paul’s speech on video
Before the US House of Representatives, October 26, 2005
We have been warned. Prepare for a broader war in the Middle East, as plans are
being laid for the next U.S.-led regime change – in Syria. A UN report on the
death of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafig Hariri elicited this comment from a
senior U.S. policy maker: “Out of tragedy comes an extraordinary strategic
opportunity.” This statement reflects the continued neo-conservative,
Machiavellian influence on our foreign policy. The “opportunity” refers to the
long-held neo-conservative plan for regime change in Syria, similar to what was
carried out in Iraq.
