Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be continuing with the Pocomoke City, Maryland painting. The photo that I’m using is seen directly above. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 6×6 inch canvas.
When last seen the painting appeared as it does in the photo seen directly below.
Since that time I have continued to work on the painting.
There are many revisions including the street, lawn and shrubbery. Note the shadows in the shrubs and line on the street. I’ve changed the color of the sidewalk and driveway and added to the sky. The painting is now finished.
The current and final state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.
I’ll have a new painting to show you next week. See you then.
Earlier paintings in this series can be seen here.
So, what do you do with all these paintings when you’re finished with them?
Many are in the closet, a few are on the wall.
My sports day is finally over. Coached the Barcelonans again this morning, won again 8-1 and again spent most of the second half trying to figure out how to keep my team from scoring. They are playing brilliant soccer at this point. They can all play multiple positions correctly, they’re making great decisions, the passing is outstanding, the selflessness is admirable, and the time of possession is almost at 90% at this point. They’re no longer letting us play most of the other teams and have rescheduled us. Now we have to play the same team we beat 8-1 today again in two weeks because they can’t find another team worthy of challenging us.
Then we went to the little league Bat-a-Thon which is really just a fundraiser for the league. Now I can finally sit down.
Sounds like a long day.
