Midweek Cafe and Lounge, Vol. 138

This week, I want to start off with a recent single by Grimes. I may be ambivalent about her as a person, but as an artist, she has been one of the most significant of the decade.

I will try to have more up as I can. The busiest week of my life is over. There is plenty of other chaos in my life, but the worst appears to be over.

This cafe is always a safe space if you want it. The jukebox is always open. The bar is free. What more could any of us want? Come in, enjoy the tunes and make some friends. We could all use that these days.

  1. I’ll try to throw some more retro stuff here too. I know a lot of us are north of 50 (me included). For a lot of reasons I interact with people who are far younger than me, so I have a chance to get turned on to a lot of stuff that might have passed me by otherwise.
