Hannidate! (giggle)

In an unexpected reaction to my family coming home from Chicago today, I’ve gone all domestic. Trust me–it’s not typical. I must really miss those people or something. Anyway, that means I won’t be online a lot today–other than checking in once in a while when I retreat to the only room in the house that is air conditioned. (Fingers crossed it stays that way, as we’ve had two air conditioners bite the dust this year.)

But first, a little while ago I saw a comment about a conservative dating service, and I just had to post this one for anyone who hasn’t heard of it before. It’s just so deliciously absurd.

Hannidate .

I kid you not. What–don’t you think of Sean Hannity every time you think of romance?

“Hannidate – The place where people of like conservative minds can come together to meet. Whether you are looking for a life partner, or just someone to hang out with, here you’ll be able to find exactly who you are looking for, locally or around the world.”

Click, look at the front page. Could someone remind me again why people were shocked–SHOCKED–when Howard Dean said something  about Republicans being “pretty much a white, Christian party”?

So anyway, I had this thought. If people on the liberal blogs started casually commenting about the lack of ethnic diversity on that page, how long do you suppose it would take to see new images go up. Having nothing to do with any comments on our part of course. The Republicans have always valued diversity. They’re the party of Lincoln, you know.

Mmmmph…hahahahahahaha!

Just couldn’t hold that back any more. I guess my “poker face” really sucks.
