Breaking News: Rove Really A Democratic Plant!

It has been confirmed by unconfirmed sources that Karl Rove, AKA “The Architect” is actually a plant for the DNC and that Jack Abramoff in actuality is a deep cover operative for a super secret black operations unit called “Black October.” The confirmed, unconfirmed source, only known as “Dieb-Throat,” with whom I personally met in an undisclosed location, okay it was a McDonald’s, stated that this operation was the actual brain child of Howard Dean and that the infamous Dean Yell was actually the cover Dean needed in order to be taken out of consideration for the Presidential Ticket and handed the ultimate reigns of power as the chairman of the DNC. When asked by this writer how that could be, Dieb-Throat stated emphatically, “You think the POSTUS actually calls the shots for the Republicans? Wake up and smell the coffee. It’s always been Ken Melhman at the helm of this juggernaut.”
The most damming evidence to date is the promise by Rove that there would be an October Surprise, as reported by Ronald Kessler of NewsMax on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.

Karl Rove Promises October Surprise

WASHINGTON — In the past week, Karl Rove has been promising Republican insiders an “October surprise” to help win the November congressional elections.

President Bush’s political strategist is also saying that the final two weeks before the elections will see a blitz of advertising, and the Republican National Committee is deploying an army of volunteers to key locations to help the grass-roots effort and monitor the elections.

The RNC is offering to fly in volunteers and cover their expenses.

Rove is not saying what the October surprise will be. Asked if he would elaborate and give his thinking about the coming elections, Rove told NewsMax that his take largely parallels what RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman said in a Sept. 5 NewsMax story.

As for the October Surprise, Rove said, “I’d rather let the balance [of plans for the elections] unroll on its own.”

Not surprising was that September 5 story. When asked about those implications, Dieb-Throat stated, “Who do you think fed Mehlman the story in the first place?”

As the events of the past few days unfold, we can clearly see that the October Surprise of which Rove was speaking had to be the tragic series of current events that have lead to the complete and utter undermining of the Republican leadership. While they scramble for damage control, it is clear that they are taking no prisoners, as evidenced by this statement from House Majority Leader John Boehner (R-OH)

“I believe I talked to the Speaker and he told me it had been taken care of,” said Boehner. “And, and, and my position is it’s in his corner, it’s his responsibility. The Clerk of the House who runs the page program, the Page Board–all report to the Speaker. And I believe it had been dealt with.”

A high ranking Democrat in the House told this writer that the master plan had been better than expected. “We have achieved total victory now. I mean, look at what’s going on. They are running for cover and we now have major players in the conservative party more concerned about Gay Rights than ever before.” When asked to clarify this statement, my source pointed to the two quotes below. One by Tony Perkins, President of the conservative Family Research Council, and the other by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Perkins: But what prevented the leadership from acting? Were they fearful of acting because they would be seen as homophobic or gay bashing?

Gingrich: Well, you could have second thoughts about it, but I think had they overly aggressively reacted to the initial round, they would have also been accused of gay bashing.

Perhaps the most effective outcome of this all has be The President’s support for House Speaker Dennis Hastert.

Hours after a conservative Washington newspaper called for Hastert’s resignation, Bush referred to the speaker as a “father, teacher, coach” and said he supports Hastert’s call for an investigation.

“I know Denny Hastert. I meet with him a lot. I know that he wants all the facts to come out,” the president said.

‘Nuff Said!

Foley’s Follies. Step right up and see the man implode!

While the GOP tries to cover it up! Hurry up folks, it’s a show not to be missed!

The thing that gets me the most about these bastards is how they try and compare this to the indiscretions of Democrats without also acknowledging that Foley’s Follies were with MINORS! I don’t care how many fucking ways you want to spin it, the guy was pursuing, and knowingly doing so at that, underage young men. How the fuck anyone would try and spin that is beyond me and says more about the Repukelicans than anything else. When it comes to an adult woman blowing the most powerful man in the world, it’s an outrage. When it comes to a low-life predator stalking underage boys, it’s spin worthy.
What are some of the lines so far?

Brit Hume: It’s probably worth noting that there’s a difference between the two parties on these issues. Inappropriate behavior towards subordinates didn’t cost Gerry Studds his Democratic seat in Massachusetts, nor Barney Frank his. Nor did inappropriate behavior toward a subordinate even cost Bill Clinton his standing within the Democratic Party, even though indirectly he was impeached for it. Mark Foley found out about this, was found out to have done this, and he’s out of office and in total disgrace in his party.

Yea Brit, none of the people you mentioned had lewd interactions with someone under the age of 18 you piece of shit!

WALLACE: Speaker Gingrich, did House Republican leaders do all they should have?

GINGRICH: Well, I think if you look at what they actually knew, which was that the family did not want anyone involved, and the actual notes were relatively innocuous, there was nothing sexual in those notes. They had him counseled. They had the head of the page program, Congressman Shimkus, talk to him very directly. And I think they thought it was over. The newest incident only surfaced when ABC News interviewed Foley and he resigned within two hours, or I think the House leaders would have moved to expel him.

WALLACE: But, during all those months, they left Foley in the House Republican leadership. They left him as the head of the congressional caucus dealing with exploited children. No second thoughts about that?

GINGRICH: Well, you could have second thoughts about it, but I think had they overly aggressively reacted to the initial round, they would have also been accused of gay bashing. I mean, the original notes had no sexual innuendo and the parents did not want any action taken.

WALLACE: Well, how would it have been gay bashing?

GINGRICH: Because it was a male-male relationship. And it had no — there was no proof, there was nothing that I know of in that initial round that would have led you to say in a normal circumstance that this is a predatory person.

Gay Bashing? Did this piece of shit really say that? Of course he did. Only a turd name Newt would completely disregard that Foley had targeted an underage boy.

An excellent timeline from Think Progress.

So this is Progressive Thought?

I’m disgusted by this fascist diary

“Shut Your F*cking Pie Hole: 2006 Version”

All of Daily Kos and the progressive, democratic, and liberal bloggasphere should be ashamed of this type of behavior. This diary should be renounced by Kos himself on the front page and its author needs to make a public apology, also on the front page. The fact that those at Daily Kos or any other blog condone this behavior is appalling. And don’t tell me how Dkos regulates itself, that’s a load of crap and everyone knows it. I and other’s here have been auto-banned by these very same types and it’s disgusting. What is the argument? That this author, someone with a four (4) digit user ID can have free reign to post this and threaten other’s with NeoCon tactics but other’s maybe too new or too low on the food chain have to shut up and take it? I’m disgusted by this behavior and I’m calling on all of you to make a statement about this to Kos and any other Front Pager over there. No action is the same as condoning this behavior. Would you let the NeoCons get away with this?
Here’s the LINK to the diary

And from the offensive diarist himself:

Now, I know Daily Kos is populated with many people who have been disappointed with the Democratic Party for one reason or the other over the past 6 years, if not the past 16 years.     I know some of you have your issues with some conservative candidates we are running in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia.

However, at risk of being called a dicatator who wishes to deprive you of your freedom of speech, now is not the time for the airing of your past or present grievances.

It is 48 days until the elections.  Our slate of candidates are set.  We have alot of ground work to do to get out the vote.   So now is the time for you to work on that, for surely you would rather Democrats win in 48 days than Republicans, no matter what your disagreement.

If I see any type of “concern troll” comments talking about how the Democratic Party has lost it way or that certain candidates are either too liberal or too conservative to garner their support, I will not investigate whether such sentiments are genuine or not.  I will assume they are Republican or Green concern trolls who wish us ill.  And I will troll rate them.   If I see a diary entitled “I hate the Democratic Party,” I will troll rate the comments supportive of it therein.  Whether the “concern” comes from the right or left, such comments have no place on Daily Kos this close to an election.   Such comments aid the Republicans and do not help the Democrats.

And my comments are not just aimed to new users or fraudulent users here on Daily Kos, but also are aimed to certain disappointing Senators and other professional pundits.  Senator Obama and his comments about the Democratic Party recently come to mind.  Yes, I am calling Senator Obama a concern troll who is no better than Kean campaign spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker and her many sockpuppets.

Grafitti Artist Hits Disneyland! Cross Posted.

Sorry for the short diary, but I have to be off to work and caught this on BBC. It appears that underground graffiti artists Banksy has hit at the heart of Disneyland by planting a life-sized replica of a Guantanamo Bay detainee inside the Thunder Mountain ride. Check it out HERE. This is beautiful. On the heels on “The Path to 9/11” and all the crap that it spewed forth Disneyland gets hit in the shorts. They love to maintain their squeaky clean image and press like this is not welcomed in the least. They are real fascists over there. I know because I got arrested there as a teenager for drinking Old Crow from a half pint while picking up girls. Admittedly, I was underage. But what’s a little drinky-poo gonna hurt, especially if it’s an appetizer to some hot, teenage sex. But I digress. Banksy is supposed to be doing something i Los Angeles this weekend. I urge all located in or around the area to check it out…if you can. I’ll post anything else I find out. I have a few way inside tracks that may lead to something.

Artist Banksy targets Disneyland

The figure appeared in Disneyland over the weekend

A life-size replica of a Guantanamo Bay detainee has been placed in Disneyland by “guerrilla artist” Banksy.
The hooded figure was placed inside the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride at the California theme park last weekend.

It is understood to have remained in place for 90 minutes before the ride was closed down and the figure removed.

A spokeswoman for Banksy said the stunt was intended to highlight the plight of terror suspects at the controversial detention centre in Cuba.

Banksy is notorious for his secretive and subversive stunts – such as sneaking doctored versions of classic paintings into major art galleries.

In 2005, he embarrassed the British Museum by planting a hoax cave painting of a man pushing a supermarket trolley, which he said went unnoticed for three days.

Last week, he smuggled 500 “alternative” versions of Paris Hilton’s album into record shops around the UK.

Banned from DKos…Cross posted everywhere I can get a voice.

CHUM 1 “ch um” informal, noun: a poster that seeks out controversial diaries or comments in order to make inflammatory statements and then troll rate anyone who stands up to them. Often seen impersonating a Progressive, they can be found in packs, usualy kissing each other’s rectums and convincing themselves that they are not acting like a NeoCon. CHUMS are well known for being given a tiny amount of power only to abuse it on a consistent basis.

Well, the abusive CHUMs at DKos have managed to troll me right out of there. At least it appears that way. I can’t edit my own diaries or post comments. BooHooHoo. I’m curious to know from the users here if many have had the same experience when they’ve stood up to the small group that seems to feel they can do as they please because they have the power (virtual though it may be) to troll rate. I don’t care about not being there, I was rarely there as it was and so lost my Trusted User Status. But I have noticed a pattern from my first days. Someone posts a comment or a diary that people don’t like. Not one that could be considered trollish as defined by Dkos, and then the CHUMs show up. These are those on DKos that are the true trolls. They troll around and seem to gravitate toward the diaries that are getting the most hits, most often than not because of a flame war created by these same sycophants.
They then make childish remarks and sometimes call you a name. They more often than not ALWAYS throw the first punch. When you stand up to them, they circle like a pack of wolves and move in. The sad part is that most of them can’t even hold a decent argument nor do they write well enough to contribute to an elementary school newspaper much less a nationally recognized political blog. I’ve noticed certain traits among them.

One is that they almost never provide the person they’re trolling with a substantive argument and then, when that person has grown tired of their banal arguments and boils it down to a very truthful “You’re an asshole” they go nuts, and accuse you of behaving exactly as they have been behaving all along.

Second is that they are very narcissistic. They will never attempt at a reconciliation because to them, it is war. If you attack in kind, you are always wrong. If you post about what a hypocritical ass they are, you get hit with lame recipes and more name calling. usually a lot of comments about you whining which, of course, is exactly what they’ve been doing all along themselves.

Third is that the almost always abuse the user definitions of what a troll rating is and then ignore ones rebuttal completely. It’s the hall mark of a sociopath to, when caught in a lie, go right one with what ever they’re doing and not blink an eye. No remorse, never wrong. I’m not saying they are sociopaths, but there are similarities.

The most striking thing is that they act EXACTLY like the NeoCons; to the letter. If you say that, then look out because how dare you call them on it. It must be hard to run around in the guise of a Progressive yet act like a NeoCon. Attack with out substance and then blame who ever they’ve attacked for the attack, and then punish those who speak truth to (perceived) power.

They are a real piece of work and a blister on the landscape of progressive thought. How can one call oneself a progressive only to then stifle others from their opinions and, in the process, consistently abuse what little power you have been given in trust to keep the community open to ideas and discourse, even if you don’t like what is being said?

As long as there is a substantive argument, how can it be bad? That’s a lot different than someone simply responding “you suck” which, if that were the comment in and of itself, not one brought on by being pushed in that direction by a CHUM or having been troll rated inappropriately, then a troll rating is what would be deserved.
