“President Donald Trump fired up his Twitter on Saturday morning to claim his ‘complete power to pardon.'”

I was worried that, left unresolved, the question of whether the President could pardon himself and his criminal associates would create confusion and doubt.  Now our premier and indisputable constitutional scholar, The Donald Himself, has ruled.  That should put the matter at rest.  I guess I’ll cancel my order for a gross of pitch-forks.

Fuck you, Hon!

CNN: ” Trump’s rebuke of Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia probe “is causing deep alarm inside the West Wing, leading some to worry that their loyalty to Trump might not be reciprocated from the man in the Oval Office.”

Ya think?

Last seen in a jar in the Oval Office. If found, please contact the Attorney General.

Let me get this straight:  Sessions made this decision without consulting the President?  That seems a highly dubious proposition.  My guess is that Trump’s response was, like, “Whatever”.  So does Trump want Jeff’s resignation or does he just want to jerk him around?  I’m guessing the latter.  

I’m sure this is going to work out well:

Ivanka sits in for the POTUS.  What–the chauffeur was busy? I’m sure everyone at the table felt it was a great honor, though.

It’s all about making him look good–if that requires serving you a crap-burger, so be it.

I gotta think Obama had a feeling it might play out like that.
