Hey AG … congratulations!

You’ve still got your resident troll … hilarious. The opinion of these trolls happen to coincide with a 4-star general of the 2007 troops surge in Iraq. A strange world we live in. 😉

Doing great across the big pond, a trusted user as I was previously here at BooMan’s pond. Still enjoying life and politics. No surprises though, a bit dull once you got the analysis right.

Trump’s Syria decision shakes up Middle East | Gulf News |

These issues are just too much to handle by businessman Trump … orders all troops back into the safety of castle the United States and will pull up the bridge to the rest of the world. As promised during the campaign: isolationism based on a touch of national pride summed up in the slogan AmericaFirst!

Cartoon “The Gap in the Bridge” by Ravenhill in Dec. 1919

Interbellum Years

“You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.” — Leo Tolstoy

In the United States’ case, that inward economic turn matched their diplomatic isolationism. Woodrow Wilson’s League of Nations never gained effective traction and didn’t grant itself authority to intervene militarily or economically. The U.S. didn’t join the League even though its president, Woodrow Wilson, founded it. American opponents of the League weren’t mere reactionaries; they made a solid isolationist case that membership over-committed the U.S. to intervene all over the world in conflicts that didn’t really concern Americans.

In the case of Trump today, it’s more likely the realisation of the military costs [and lives of Americans] and the complexity of world affairs that forced his decision. And it was a campaign promise to do matters differently than his predecessor Barack Obama. All Alone in the White House.

Dear Mr. President:

I have been privileged to serve as our country’s 26th Secretary of Defense which has allowed me to serve alongside our men and women of the Department in defense of our citizens and our ideals.

I am proud of the progress that has been made over the past two years on some of the key goals articulated in our National Defense Strategy: putting the Department on a more sound budgetary footing, improving readiness and lethality in our forces, and reforming the Department’s business practices for greater performance. Our troops continue to provide the capabilities needed to prevail in conflict and sustain strong US global influence.

One core belief I have always held is that our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships. While the US remains the indispensable nation in the free world, we cannot protect our interests or serve that role effectively without maintaining strong alliances and showing respect to those allies.

The annihilation of Daesh and its savagery | Gulf News |

Point of departure

When you consider how, after the Arabs’ humiliating defeat in the June war of 1967, all the secular ideologies that had then animated the public debate — such as pan-Arabism, Nasserism, Baathism, socialism — proved to be hollow and worthless, you begin to see a vacuum there.

And human nature, as we know, abhors a vacuum. At a time when Arabs needed a mythology of hope to live by — for man does not live by bread alone — what better one was there to turn to than Islam, a source of identity and power, whose holy texts grew out of the very bosom of one’s culture?

People want to be recognised and respected, defined within a shared system of thought that gives passion, meaning and elan to the lives they live — a notion in our part of the world called ‘Assabiyah’ by Ibn Khaldun in Muqaddimah, and in the Euramerican world called Thymos by Plato in The Republic.

Sadly, secular Arab thinkers at the time envisioned the world, but failed to change it, and created meaning but possessed no means. Enter Daesh, bristling with arms and muscular swagger, ostensibly to speak to, about and from these people’s choked psyche.

But some Islamist activists, even before Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden and Daesh, were semi-literate oafs — indeed in some instances outright street thugs such as Abu Musab Al Zarqawi — rather than polished, discerning intellectuals in touch with the soul of their history.

Thus, like all such jejune movements, Daesh came burdened with the seeds of its own destruction.

Diminished range

And, yes, Daesh may continue to inspire some alienated people who demand a dissociation from personal identity, who prefer a diminished range for the self, and who want to entrust their imagination, their centre of reality, their emotional and tactical resources to a massed movement.

Trump asked Erdoğan if Turkey could clear the rest of Syria of ISIL | Hürriyet Daily News Opinion |

United States President Donald Trump did it again. His unpredictability has just become a norm when shaping U.S. foreign policy. Although he denies it was not a surprise move, Trump’s sudden decision for a complete pullout of all U.S. troops from Syria, despite the Pentagon’s continuous statements that the job has not been done yet, had an astonishing impact on the international community as well as regional actors.

As Reuters reported, citing a U.S. official, Trump’s latest phone conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Dec. 14 pushed him to give the final order for the withdrawal from Syria.

According to the same Turkish officials, Trump asked this following question to Erdoğan on the phone: “Can Turkey clear the east of Euphrates of the rest of ISIL in the event that they withdraw from Syria?”

The reason why Trump raised this question was Erdoğan’s continued criticisms on the U.S. partnership with the YPG on the fight against ISIL. Erdoğan once again reiterated Turkey’s belief that the YPG was not genuinely in the fight against the jihadist groups but was using this assumption as a pretext for its political ambitions in the east of Euphrates.

Therefore, Erdoğan reaffirmed that Turkey could fight against ISIL as it did in mid-2016 and neutralized around 4,000 jihadists as part of the Euphrates Shield Operation.

It was well-reported that Trump had pushed the button after his conversation with Erdoğan. But Ankara was notified of the decision a few days after, on Dec. 17. But senior Turkish officials still had suspicions about the move. “Saudis, Israelis, Europeans and, of course, Kurds are against the U.S. withdrawal. Pentagon and other parts of the establishment are not happy with the move,” the senior officials said, expressing their skepticism over the course of the developments.

PS The recent talks between US envoy and the Taliban held in Qatar … who was the American envoy? Indeed Khalilzad.

American Viceroy | The New Yorker – Dec. 2005 |

Zalmay Khalilzad was a hawk; he was close to neoconservatives like Richard Perle and former Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, and had argued for regime change in Iraq for more than a decade. He arrived in Baghdad a few days after the first American troops, alongside General Jay Garner, who was sent to supervise the reconstruction of Iraq. But a few weeks later Khalilzad and Garner were suddenly recalled to Washington, apparently at the behest of the Pentagon, and were replaced by Paul Bremer, who became the head of the new Coalition Provisional Authority. Bremer, in almost every major aspect, proved to be ineffectual. His peremptory dissolution of the Iraqi Army, in May of 2003, gave the insurgency vigor and a vastly expanded constituency.

In late 2003, Khalilzad was sent to Afghanistan as the U.S. Ambassador. The political capital he has in the Administration—which is considerable—is due to his successes there. While he was in Kabul, Afghanistan held its first free elections in history, which Karzai won handily. Karzai regarded Khalilzad as his close friend and adviser; he was very unhappy when, last April, President Bush nominated Khalilzad to replace Bremer’s successor in Baghdad, John Negroponte.

Isikoff: Steele Dossier and Untruths

Trump-Russia dossier journalist doubts Christopher Steele’s claims

The journalist who was among the first to report on the Trump-Russia dossier suspects many of the allegations made in former British spy Christopher Steele’s collection of memos are “likely false.”

Yahoo chief investigative reporter Michael Isikoff was one of the journalists who met with Steele during the 2016 campaign. On Sept. 23, 2016, he wrote an article [Yahoo News] about former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page, which outlined how Page had attracted law enforcement’s attention for allegedly trying to establish back channels between the campaign and Russia and for discussing the lifting of sanctions with Moscow-linked officials.

Continued below the fold …

The article was frequently cited during congressional investigations into whether the Justice Department and FBI abused surveillance powers by gathering information on Page, a U.S. citizen, after obtaining warrants based on Steele’s unverified work.

Despite reporting accusations made by Steele, Isikoff told John Ziegler’s Free Speech Broadcasting podcast that many of the claims had still not been corroborated.

Dutch Gov’t Hard Facts and Lies/Propaganda about Syria

Due to FOIA requests by media Nieuwsuur/Trouw, the Dutch government published documents on their website for a number of hours which contained top secret names of jihadists groups supported with supplies in military action and human rights abuse.

Foreign Ministry accidentally releases names of supported Syrian groups | Dutch News | [EN]

More below the fold … a rant!

Dutch FM Blok unintentionally reveals state secrets about Syrian combat groups | NOS Nieuwsuur / Trouw |

The Dutch aid to Syrian insurgents was explicitly meant for military combat, as can be seen from documents that were requested by Nieuwsuur and Trouw. This contrasts sharply with statements made by Minister Stef Blok of Foreign Affairs in the House of Representatives, where he stated that the aid was ‘civil in nature’. And the government reveals information that has previously been labeled as state secret.

Now it appears that almost all goods supplied by the Netherlands were used by the Syrian insurgents for the military battle. Not only were pick-up trucks used in attack missions, the Netherlands also supplied ‘tactical vests’ for weapons such as the M-16 and AK-47. Furthermore, innocent items such as food parcels, generators and furniture had military value: especially to boost the morale of the fighters. Laptops were used for selecting military targets.

State secret information

In the released documents, moreover, state-secret information appears to be unintentionally present. For example, names of the groups involved are mentioned, information that Blok has been silent about to date. This is now called ‘Levant Front‘ (Jabhat al-Shamiya), a group that was already mentioned by Nieuwsuur and Trouw, but Foreign Affairs refused to confirm.

A new battle group is also mentioned in the documents: Hama Rebels Gathering. This movement was already in the picture at Nieuwsuur and Trouw, but was not mentioned in previous publications due to lack of evidence.

From my earlier diary in September …

A developing story …

US citizens and its western allies have been LIED to and clouded by military propaganda from their governments. How many deaths did these criminal acts cause in Syria by extending the civil unrest. How many civilians have fled their homes and millions crossed into Europe causing an “immigration” issue which led directly to a conservative movement of white supremacy and a strong shift to right-wing politics across Europe.

The secret documents about the sponsoring of Jihadist groups in Syria, by the Dutch government

CONCLUSION

The Dutch government must have had the knowledge since the making of the conflict in 2011, which they called the “Arab Spring”, meaning the destruction of the Middle-east and eventually bring it under control of NATO/US and Israel.

As from 2012 it was clear that the groups (so-called 22) they supported were not “secular – democratic” opposition, but mainly Jihadist groups, who were formed with the help of the US, KSA, Qatar, Turkey and EU countries like the Netherlands.

That is why it’s top-secret the so-called “22” groups who, according, to the Dutch government part of their NLA (Non-Lethal-Assistance) programme. The NLA programme was “lethal”, if you send trucks and army-equipment, you indirectly sponsor war in a sovereign country, which is forbidden under International Law, no reasons can be found to prove the opposite, because, the secular state of Syria, meaning the Syrian Arab Republic, was according my knowledge and most importantly the Syrian people and law, a secular state, were there was no war or repression. Differences were communicated, in a democratic way, at the Assembly and Parliament.

Saudis Close to Crown Prince Discussed Killing Other Enemies a Year Before Khashoggi’s Death | NY Times |

Top Saudi intelligence officials close to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman asked a small group of businessmen last year about using private companies to assassinate Iranian enemies of the kingdom, according to three people familiar with the discussions.

The Saudis inquired at a time when Prince Mohammed, then the deputy crown prince and defense minister, was consolidating power and directing his advisers to escalate military and intelligence operations outside the kingdom. Their discussions, more than a year before the killing of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi, indicate that top Saudi officials have considered assassinations since the beginning of Prince Mohammed’s ascent.

Continued below the fold …

Saudi officials have portrayed Mr. Khashoggi’s death as a rogue killing ordered by an official who has since been fired. But that official, Maj. Gen. Ahmed al-Assiri, was present for a meeting in March 2017 in Riyadh, the Saudi capital, where the businessmen pitched a $2 billion plan to use private intelligence operatives to try to sabotage the Iranian economy.

During the discussion, part of a series of meetings where the men tried to win Saudi funding for their plan, General Assiri’s top aides inquired about killing Qassim Suleimani, the leader of the Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps and a man considered a determined enemy of Saudi Arabia.

As for the businessmen, who had intelligence backgrounds, they saw their Iran plan both as a lucrative source of income and as a way to cripple a country that they and the Saudis considered a profound threat. George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman, arranged the meeting. He had met previously with Prince Mohammed, and had pitched the Iran plan to Trump White House officials. Another participant in the meetings was Joel Zamel, an Israeli with deep ties to his country’s intelligence and security agencies.

Both Mr. Nader and Mr. Zamel are witnesses in the investigation by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, and prosecutors have asked them about their discussions with American and Saudi officials about the Iran proposal. It is unclear how this line of inquiry fits into Mr. Mueller’s broader inquiry. In 2016, a company owned by Mr. Zamel, Psy-Group, had pitched the Trump campaign on a social media manipulation plan.

[Al-Jazeera recently noted that Nader worked for over a year in a brazen attempt to curry favor with the Republican National Committee on behalf of the UAE.]

A spokesman for the Saudi government declined to comment, as did lawyers for both Mr. Nader and Mr. Zamel.

The House Republicans’ PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund, launched a $200,000 last minute ad campaign to protect New York Rep. John Katko from a Democratic challenger, the Syracuse Post Standard reported.

Katko is one of several Republicans in New York who Democrats have hopes to knock off. They also include indicted Rep. Chris Collins, Hudson Valley Rep. John Faso, and Staten Island Rep. Dan Donovan.

The GOP group’s ad attacks Democrat Dana Balter for her support for a single-payer healthcare system, also known as Medicare for All.

The PAC is the latest political group to begin spending heavily in the Syracuse race, a possible sign the election may be more competitive than public polls have shown, the Post Standard reports.

Bolton delivered the aggressive speech to Cuban and Venezuelan expats at the Freedom Tower in Miami, while announcing that President Donald Trump had signed a new executive order that will allow sanctions against Venezuela’s gold industry, which Bolton said the Venezuelan government has used to finance criminal operations. The order gives the administration authority to target other sectors.

Michael McCarthy, founder of Caracas Wire, a consulting group on Venezuela that regularly speaks with the Trump administration, said the order provides “strategic ambiguity” to target the oil sector later.

Bolton paid particular attention to Cuba’s role in Venezuela, stating that many in the audience have personally suffered “unspeakable horrors” by their homeland governments. They fought back and now their descendants can live the American Dream, he said.

Harkening back to President George W. Bush’s “axis of evil,” Bolton’s attacks on the three nations reflect an increasing aggression toward leftist autocrats that Trump has touched on during international speeches to the United Nations and other international forums.

Trump’s supporters, who have long argued for a stronger position against Latin America, will likely praise the aggressive tone, but it may also heighten existing concerns that the United States is reviving a narrative promoted by leftist governments that the U.S. is the imperialist bully bent on punishing Latin American governments that don’t do its bidding.

Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, Rendition and the West

More below the fold …
Hillary Clinton the darling of Al Jazeera and Erdogan of Turkey … decision on regime change in Libya and Syria!

Developments Arab Spring Egypt’s Revolt Explained

Nasser threw out the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1960s – hanged some of the leaders for assassination attempts. The MB found refuge in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar. The MB is banned in the KSA and UAE. Erdogan’s Turkey is aligned with the MB, Qatar, Egypt’s Morsi and Hamas in Gaza. Hillary Clinton aligned herself with the MB factions and was never able to reach a common goal in Syria for a political solution in Geneva. Of course Egypt’s president Sadat was indeed assassinated by leaders of the MB – think Ayman Al Zawahiri. The MB closed ranks with Saudi rebel Osama bin-Laden and formed Al Qaeda during the Clinton presidency.

Influential leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood

From these experiences grew Qutb’s rejection of the West, namely democracy, nationalism and secularism (Cline).  When Qutb returned to Egypt in 1951 the Egyptian government’s pro-Western position resulted in Qutb’s forced resignation.  Shortly thereafter Qutb joined the Muslim Brotherhood and quickly developed into an eminent member, positioned as the head of the Brotherhood’s propaganda department in 1952.  In his book Islam and the Problem of Civilization, Qutb questioned,

“What should be our verdict on this synthetic [Western] civilization?  What should be done about America and the West, given their overwhelming danger to humanity…?  Should we not issue a sentence of death?  Is it not the verdict most appropriate to the nature of the crime?” (“Birth of the”)

In more recent years these views have been reprised in the discourse of Osama bin Laden and his intellectual mentor, Ayman Zawahiri (“Birth of the”).

In prison following assassination attempts on Nasser’s life and the subsequent banning of the Brotherhood, Qutb wrote his most famous book, in 1954, Malim if al-Tariq (Milestones).  Milestones outlined his plan for political jihad to lead to Islam’s global power and advocated the establishment of believers to lead a war against Jahiliyya, the state of ignorance that existed before Mohammed’s message that introduced Islam to the world (Cline).  In his book he divided social systems into two categories:  The Order of Islam and the Order of Jahiliyya. In 1966, Nasser responded to three assassination attempts on his life by hanging several of the Muslim Brotherhood’s leaders, including Qutb.

Turning a Blind Eye on Human Rights Abuse

In aftermath of the murder of Jamal Khashoggi by the Saudi regime, the Vision 2030 wealth fund may be in for some delay. Let’s see who are those persons led by $$$ signs in their eyes instead of the human rights issues of monarchs and dictators in the Middle East. Oil wealth and elites are not by definition the kindest of persons with empathy for critical voices in their kingdom. Fighting the Shia in Iraq, Syria, Bahrain and the ugly war in Yemen. Getting away with it by cozying up to the major suppliers of sophisticated war machines supplied by the US, UK, France and on a smaller scale by a few others. Even The Netherlands supplied once again lethal tools used in the war in Yemen.  On the wrong side of history, yet getting away with it due to impunity by breaches of International Law and the Geneva Conventions. The 21st century has turned just as ugly as the 20th century proved to be. After the fall of the Iron Curtain and the 9/11 attacks, the western war machine has gained a lot more speed. No protests on the horizon that endure beyond one or two weeks. Am surprised the black clouds gathered at all over the Arabian desert. Crown Prince Salman is truly writing history as another Arab leader with qualities of a potentate ruler. Some of us were not fooled …

Saudi summit in crisis as Khashoggi case prompts mass withdrawals

The president of the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim, said he would not be attending, and the Financial Times, Bloomberg, CNN and CNBC have withdrawn as media sponsors.

Continued below the fold …

The New York Times withdrew its sponsorship of the event on Wednesday, starting a domino effect of withdrawals around the globe. In a short statement, the Financial Times’ chief communications officer, Fiona McDonnell, said the newspaper would not be a partner of the conference while Khashoggi’s disappearance remained unexplained.

Media figures to pull out of the conference include Arianna Huffington, who runs the health firm Thrive Global, Patrick Soon-Shiong, the owner of the LA Times, and the CNBC anchor Andrew Ross Sorkin. The Viacom chief executive, Bob Bakish, and Uber’s chief executive, Dara Khosrowshahi, have also confirmed they will not attend.

Sir Richard Branson has halted discussions with Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund about a planned $1bn (£760m) investment in Virgin’s space companies. He has also suspended his participation in two advisory boards.

Christine Lagarde, the head of the IMF, is listed as a speaker at the conference. Jihad Azour, head of the IMF’s Middle East department, would not say if she would attend. “Like most of the people here and everywhere, we are waiting to have more information on this recent development,” Azour said.

The Economist’s editor-in-chief, Zanny Minton Beddoes, has withdrawn from the FII. An editorial in the latest issue contained a rebuke to Bin Salman, stating: “His brutish handling of even mild critics is overshadowing more admirable policies, which include curbing the religious police, letting women drive and encouraging them to work.

“As his regime starts to resemble an Arab nationalist dictatorship – socially liberal but centralised, paranoid and built on fear – his promise of a new, tolerant Saudi Arabia is receding.”

Of course Trump will stand by his business partners to the very end as he has shown throughout his life of cozying up to the wealth of crooks and dirty money investments.

Theresa May in denial after her Salzburg ordeal | The Guardian Opinion |

If it hadn’t all been so numbingly inevitable, it might have been possible to feel sorry for Theresa May. Back in the UK, both remainers and leavers had pronounced her Chequers’ proposals to be dead in the water, but the prime minister had still travelled to the informal EU summit in Salzburg hoping for a stay of execution. A few luke-warm words and some insincere air kisses at the very least, until after she had survived the Conservative party conference. Her current range of vision really is that limited.

Instead she got a lesson in plain-speaking brutality. No attempts to sugar the pill, as EU leader after leader took it in turns to dismiss Chequers and to mock the UK over its lack of progress in its Brexit preparations. Even the Dutch thought they were better prepared for a no-deal Brexit than us.

Moments after being given the bad news in person, May had to face the UK media. The room in which the press conference was held was small and airless, but the prime minister was already sweaty when she walked in. More than that, she looked angry and terrified. Alone and out of her depth, her eyes darting across the room, searching for one friendly face. There wasn’t one. There hadn’t been one in the two days she had been in Austria.

Theresa May’s Salzburg humiliation confirms that a full blown political crisis is coming | The Independent |

Theresa May’s problem is that she is fundamentally a decent, functional human being. She is not struck down with the Messiah complex. She does not lie easily or well.

So when she stands on stage at a press conference, her teeth gnashing, her eyes wide and wild, as if everything has gone utterly terribly wrong and she hasn’t got the first clue what she is going to do about it, then you can be absolutely sure it’s because everything has indeed gone utterly terribly wrong, and she hasn’t got the first clue what she is going to do about it.

She had been humiliated, and then she was forced to humiliate herself. She had thought this informal summit of EU leaders in Salzburg would be the final breakthrough on an exit deal from the European Union.

Theresa Might’s Salzburg humiliation confirms a full blown political disaster is coming

That white paper is the one which set out how a frictionless border might be maintained on the island of Eire, without Northern Eire remaining within the customs union. She had gone to Salzburg on this recommendation, the place she came upon, within the full glare of the general public, highlighted in the end her predicament.

It was unnervingly near a full-on public meltdown. It was, at moments, Kafkaesque.

Fucking Israelis Stirring Up Big Trouble

Follow-up diary to – Syrian Civil War – Endgame In Idlib?

Israelis have been left out of the loop by the Americans in the war effort in Syria. The diplomatic effort is now in the hands of three major players Turkey, Russia and Iran.

Here what happened in the last 24 hours above Latakia …

Russia Reports Il-20M “Coot-A” Electronic Intelligence Aircraft Lost in Syria During Israeli Air Strike Near Latakia | The Aviationist |

A Russian military Ilyushin Il-20M Coot-A spyplane has been reported as “down” at approximately 2300 local time (2000 GMT) on Monday Sept. 17, in the Mediterranean Sea off the Syrian coast. There were 14 crewmembers on board the aircraft according to multiple reports.

Continued below the fold …

Russian government media outlet TASS posted that, “On September 17, at about 11:00 Moscow time, the connection with the crew of the Russian Il-20 aircraft was lost over the Mediterranean Sea when the plane was returning to the airbase of Khmeimim, 35 kilometers from the coast of Syria.”

The report in Russian media released early September 18 in U.S. time zones, went on to say, “The ministry specified that the mark of Il-20 went off the radars disappeared during the attack of four Israeli F-16 aircraft on Syrian targets in the province of Latakia.”

In the United States, media outlet CNN immediately attributed the loss of the Russian surveillance and control aircraft to the Syrians, reporting that, “A Russian maritime patrol aircraft with multiple personnel on board was inadvertently shot down by Syrian regime anti-aircraft artillery on Monday after the Syrians came under attack by Israeli missiles, according to a US official with knowledge of the incident.”

The incident happened during an Israeli air strike in Syria being conducted by four F-16s according to CNN and other media outlets. The alleged Israeli strikes were reported to have hit multiple targets in the Syrian province of Latakia.

Confusion surrounds the causes of the loss. U.S. military says they believe the aircraft was shot down by Syrian Air Defense. Russians mention the proximity of Israeli F-16 Jets and French frigate in the area at the time of the incident.

The Russian MOD squarely puts blame on the Israeli Defense Forces for using de Russian IL20 plane as decoy in their attack on the Latakia area. There will be verbal warfare in the coming hours between Israel’s PM Netanyahu (deep litigation trouble) and Russia’s president Putin. The mutual understanding between the two nations on major issues as the Ukraine will have ended for now. The Israelis have managed to get the attention of the world once again.

[Update-1] Netanyahu’s Warning to Putin

PM Netanyahu playing with fire as the close relationship is based on mutual respect and a direct warning by president Putin NOT to endanger the lives of Russian military by IAF strikes on Syria and depots of suspected Iranian arms for Hezbollah.

No Breaking News coverage in Western television media .. Russia Today has a LIVE coverage of the incident and the implications. The Israelis are starting to react as the Ambassador to Moscow has been summoned by Russia’s FM.

In preliminary statements the Israelis say they are sorry for Russian lives lost but deflect blame on Syria and its allies Hezbollah and Iran. This is unacceptable for Russia as it was a deliberate act to use the cove of an incoming Russian military aircraft on a path to land at Hmeimim military base in Latakia.

Result of Libyan intervention was a stepping stone to send major supplies of arms, munitions and jihadists to northern Syria moving through the border with Turkey. Thanks to funding by Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood nation loved so by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Southern front was formed inside Jordan with training ground for fighters under supervision of British and American Special Forces. The third wave came from Al Qaeda out of Iraq’s Anbar province seeking revenge for US invasion of 2003. The goal was to establish a caliphate in the Levant – ISIL – ISIS – Islamic State force of cutthroats and pure criminals. Saudi Arabian prince Bandar took command of the jihadists going into Syria as he had done before with the Mujahideen in the Afghan War against the Soviets. Prince Bandar opened death row in KSA and send these men into Syria with the opportunity to go to paradise by becoming a martyr. Nice ally of the United States and Israel!
