is it repuglycon palm sunday or sompin?
Carl Levin is the lone D in the line-up?
Just posted the same comment on dKos: “and the boys are all playing by themselves, not one woman in the list. Even satanic ritual’s used to include women. This seems more like a Skulls and Bones meeting.”
Aren’t there any women or don’t they have anything to say anymore. At least at dKos and here they seem very vocal to me, so there should be women for tv. What’s happening?
Pretty simple really. The sunday talk shows are all hosted by men/no doubt the producers are men? and unless your Hilary Clinton these shows obviously just don’t think of women as guests.
Rather like institutional racism you could call this institutional sexism where they don’t even realize-at least I don’t think they do-that they exclude women to such an extent.
And of course there are woman who could be asked on these shows, just as many as the men if they really want to make an effort to do so.
I pretty much can’t stand to watch any of these shows anymore unless someone exceptional is on. Maybe we should all start emailing these shows once a week suggesting women they could have on. My first thought on that would be Barbara Boxer but could just as well be lesser known women and after all isn’t this International Women’s Month.
It also seems to mainly a republican lineup once again, what a bloody sunday surprise, eh.
