Schiavo Memo From GOP Senator’s Staff

Of course the Rather guard memos were fake (???) but Powerline has been proven to be full of shit in trying to scuttle the issue of the GOP taking advantage of the Schiavo case. Link. Not only does Powerline look bad but Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post gave credibility to their charges that the document was faked. Confirmation that he carries water for the GOP department of damage control. Atrios and Digby are giving Powerline grief for their questioning of photographs from Iraq. Now that their credibility is questioned, maybe we can all go down that rathole of the legitimacy of the Guard memos. Powerline didn’t even apologize for their claims. They went right from lies to minimizing the status of the staff member who distributed the memo.
