Senators that profess membership in churches or spout off about how they are all about protecting children and women and families are at it again. So now I know that whenever one of these so called family friendly Senators speaks about protecting families, he really means this: how can they steal more money from all those families that are not like their own, you know taking money from Corporations and voting against anything that would resemble a living wage.
I guess to get a 100% from the Christian Coalition as a pro family Senator, all you have to do is support anti Abortion legislation, anti human cell testing, but support chemical and other types of testing on human children.
This diary is going to be very very long, so be forewarned, but I felt that the information that I have been able to accumulate is important. Many of these wingnuts will be up for reelection in the next four years and this could provide ammunition for anyone who is running against them. I hope you will follow the links to your wingnut Senator (if you have one) and gain a clearer understanding of their voting record.
I believe these wingnuts have to go to wingnut school, so they will follow the party line. You will see very little difference in their scores in regard to education, civil rights, labor, public health and seniors. You will also see an almost perfect score for each and everyone of these wingnuts from the US Chamber of Commerce and again almost perfect Zero’s from SANE as they are all military spending wingnuts. Now don’t get me wrong, I believe we should have a military to protect us and our country, I just can’t tolerate the wide spread corruption and waste of billions of dollars, going to the Military Industrial Complex. They have far too much power and now have almost gained a half a trillion dollars a year from the federal budget. I say it is time to stop the waste and find out where all that money is going, it certainly is not paying a living wage for anyone under a LT. in the Armed Forces.
So without further ado, here is my list of 37 Wingnut Senators that support Human testing of Pesticides on children. Please be aware that I have inserted editorial commentary to most of these wingnut’s records. I also added an easy to follow link to check out their entire records concerning many of the important issues facing our country.

A controversial speaker
In 1994 Burns told the editorial board of the Bozeman Chronicle that when asked by a constituent, “how can you live back there Washington, DC with all those niggers?” he replied, “[It’s] a hell of a challenge.” About the use of the racial slur: “I never give it much thought.”
On February 17, 1999, while at a meeting of the Montana Implement Dealers Association in Billings, Montana, Burns referred to Arabic people as “ragheads”. Burns later apologized. (Thompson 1999)
His detractors would point out that Burns also has a legislative history of supporting measures and bills which would reduce (American) Indian tribal sovereignty, including a bill, co-sponsored with Slade Gorton, that would require tribes to waive sovereignty rights such as immunity from lawsuits, in addition to meeting means testing, before they could receive federal funds. He has also sponsored legislation that some say would violate treaties by eliminating Native jurisdiction of reservation land owned by non-Indians. According to State Representative Carol Juneau, (D) Browning, “Burns…has encouraged people to believe that Indians’ rights can be terminated.”
