Aren’t chickenhawk conservatives all the same? Here’s a “polite” conservative mom – with a teenage son, no less – who is busy today whining about Mrs. Sheehan being in all the papers and all over TV:
I really didn’t want to add to the blogs about her, but she is a malicious, selfish, phony, narcissistic bitch. (I’m a gal and can say that)… Libs must be lonely people. Why else would she make this phony grandstand, with her phony grieving, and her changing demands. She’s just a malicious bitch, trying to fill a personal need. Too bad we have to watch every minute of it.
I guess the truth is really annoying, huh?

What’s really telling is that she insists that this woman’s grief must be phony. It’s both an obvious case of projection – what she’s afraid she’d feel if her child were killed in war – and of attempting to justify her beliefs in the face of something that proves all of them false.

I’ve been sneak attacking some “Church Ladies” who lurk on a hockey site I belong to. I “enjoy” posting articles and my thoughts about this in a moslty Liberal HOckey board 🙂 – THey are the very ones who ruined friendships and such on the official site.
One of the Church Ladies… she says she’s a “Proud USMC Mother” but for years she was in a hockey room bitching about how her husband had to pay child support for his bastard child. She fucking celebrated the day he turned 18.
Sheposted how he’d dared to ask them for help to get into school… and that he’d just have to find his own way. Well, he did. He signed up and the bitch is now a “PROUD MOM”. She’s probably bashing Cindy, too.

I went and bought a CodePink t-shirt just now. 🙂 And I’m listening to Randi Rhoades (finally figured out how to do that) and me and the kids are talking about (Wesley is listening and talking while he plays Xbox) and we jus tmade Orange dreamsicle banana smoothies.
That Fetch Snatch Bitch doesn’t deserve my attention. 🙂

Heck, Wayne is even worried that one day I’ll “type too far” and get arrested because of my comments about this Administration… which tells me that that means I should continue “commenting” – more so even to ENSURE that we continue to have Free Speech.
Plus he’s afraid when I go out because once I really pissed off a RightWing asshat with a Humvee. He’s scared because although I don’t go to the Freep sites… I still continue to speak out 🙂
and taught me well is that I do not have ANY reason to be afraid of anything that this admin. might throw at me for exercising my rights as a citizen because I KNOW, I really KNOW that so many people have my back.
I was constantly saying things like, “…..but I’m afriad to because of my kids, husband….” but I KNOW, I KNOW that they will be taken care of and I KNOW that I am NOT ALONE and that all anyone would have to do would be to call on you all and you’d get it done. Period.
I am going to follow Cindy’s lead: I won’t be afraid.

Yesterday I may have changed ONE mind. A vet who liked hockey started to “debate” about how it’s a soldier’s job to die – blah blah… I used my time and energy to open his eyes and mind.
Thanks to all the great posts and wisdom you all share with me daily 🙂 I try to put it to use to help bring those types over the land of “reality” 🙂
