Below, the crowd with the Space Needle in the background:
Looks like a good crowd of Citizen Patriots…even with the rain.
The Needle picture looks like a Van Gogh..starry, starry, night!
Bless ’em All
Drops of water, not stars!!
Thanks!
Thanks Dina,
Have camera, will travel!!! Love the pictures!
Lots of good pictures. I noticed a sign for the 34th District, so I visited their site…Looks good, lively, and soooo much less sedate than where I am in rural NC. Good for them! Nothing better than wild and wooly Dems

Love It!!!!! Great photos at her site.
I thought only crazy people protested in the dark, cold rain… 🙂
You must be talking about the anti-protesters!
in the rain – for 3 hours. Portland Protest.
“irony gene”!
when you said “only crazy people protested”…I knew you weren’t talking about our people….
just me trying to be funny.
There was no way I could choose which photos to borrow, so I sent the link to my daughter Darcy, who picked these two.
Dina is a good photographer.
Say, Janet, you should send Dina your diary with photos! Portland rawks. … in fact, Darcy and I are always envious of how Portland turns out for protests … they usually put Seattle to shame.
I’m still upset about what happened to you last Friday night, and to the Code Pink women. I’m so glad you were our WITNESS, and could tell us. (How else would we have found out?)
Tastes like democracy. Bless ya, Seattle folks.
Every bit helps.
I hope everybody went out for some Dilettante (the place, not the attitude) chocolate and espressos afterward. Nice to see SOTU demonstrations were so widespread.
