Ok, so we get deported from Thailand by the US Government for reporting on drug war killings of Akha people (my wife is Akha) and US whore missionaries taking away Akha children from their villages in north Thailand, telling donors that they are orphans, and collecting money for to make the missionaries rich, and destroying the culture and lanagues of the children. ( Go screw the hell out of yourself James Dobson)
We move to Laos. An Akha woman, her four children who have US passports, and Me. An American. Someone who believes in human rights for everyone. Not just white people.
Well, we are two years waiting for a visa. We get paperwork from the US Embassy in Vientiane. That is in Laos, that small country the US dropped 2,000,000 TONS of bombs on during the war in Vietnam.
7,000,000 explosive pieces are still left in the country, ready to go off. And go off they do, killing women, kids, (kids love to play with bombs till the blow up)and anyone. The US Govt. gives piss to clean them up. Laos was a neutral country, not at war with the US, but the US figured what the hec.
So we stop by the Embassy to ask a visa question, cause you got to HURRY or your window of opportunity expires and you don’t get a visa for your wife and you have to start all over, you know, would be tragic for an Akha woman to go to the US with her kids.
SO DON’T LINGER. BUT WAIT, there’s more…..
So the CONSUL tells me, being that it is THURSDAY, that the time for Americans to visit THEIR F’n Embassy about Fiance Visas is MONDAY 1-3. So if we have a question we got to come back then. Now this piece of shit embassy on a dirt ass road in the country that got bombed back to hell, is a no kind of place, its like the last place on earth anyone wants to go, unless they got to have a visa. But its not like the embassy of the most popular country in the world, or the most popular location in Vientiane. But God forbid that we should overload them.
So I ask the Consul, “So does that mean, that if we come back on MONDAY from 1-3 and we ask a question, and then we have another question, we can’t come back on TUESDAY, but we have to wait a week before we can come back again on MONDAY?”
“Yes, that is correct” he says.

I might add, we waited 7 months to be told the first visa was rejected for lack of proof of marriage. Gee, four kids, but why does it take 7 months to tell someone that?
