Walmart is infiltrating blogs and so is the defense department? (The latter is why the question mark as I cannot remember which bureacracy is involved.) 11 percent of voters are the ones running the so call social agenda with the so called “right to life” mission and they are allowed to do this because they have made a pact with corporate devils. And most of those are women! And Delay won 60 % of republican votes because they apparently think that lying and cheating and money laundrying are values that Texans need to get the pork into their district. And the idiots voted in the so called
Patriot act! At least we know when something is labeled we can always look for the opposite!
I am so glad this is Wednesday because we are closer to Saturday when I can cover up my head and go back to bed.
Look at the tyranny of party–at what is called party allegiance, party loyalty–a snare invented by designing men for selfish purposes–and which turns voters into chattles, slaves, rabbits, and all the while their masters, and they themselves are shouting rubbish about liberty, independence, freedom of opinion, freedom of speech, honestly unconscious of the fantastic contradiction; and forgetting or ignoring that their fathers and the churches shouted the same blasphemies a generation earlier when they were closing their doors against the hunted slave, beating his handful of humane defenders with Bible texts and billies, and pocketing the insults and licking the shoes of his Southern master.

A car, which I routinely see when taking my kid to school, displays a bumper sticker which says “Junior Anti-Sex League for Bush”. This sticker puzzled my daughter and I for months and Iw as sure I had heard of the group before. I finally googled the Junior Anti-Sex League. I laughed out loud when the results came back showing it was a ficticious group from Orwell’s 1984.
I don’t know whether to be pleased or alarmed that I recognized the reference immediately, even though it’s been a couple of decades since I last read the book.
There doesn’t seem to be a need to reread it, since I seem to be living right in the middle of Airstrip One and have constant reminders of it on a daily basis.

In the ranks of the new conservatives, however, I see and experience much hate. It comes to me in violently worded, ignorant and irrational emails from self-professed conservatives who literally worship George Bush. Even Christians have fallen into idolatry. There appears to be a large number of Americans who are prepared to kill anyone for George Bush.
The Iraqi War is serving as a great catharsis for multiple conservative frustrations: job loss, drugs, crime, homosexuals, pornography, female promiscuity, abortion, restrictions on prayer in public places, Darwinism and attacks on religion. Liberals are the cause. Liberals are against America. Anyone against the war is against America and is a liberal. “You are with us or against us.”
This is the mindset of delusion, and delusion permits of no facts or analysis. Blind emotion rules. Americans are right and everyone else is wrong. End of the debate.
compared to this passage of Orwell’s 1984. Syme to Winston:
“Don’t you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed, will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten. Every year fewer and fewer words, and the range of consciousness always a little smaller. There’s no reason or excuse for committing thoughtcrime. It’s merely a question of self-discipline, reality-control. The Revolution will be complete when the language is perfect. Newspeak is Ingsoc and Ingsoc is Newspeak.
Cheney’s daughter takes on Iranian mullahs
Sarah Baxter, Washington
March 06, 2006
THE war in Iraq is her father’s business, but Elizabeth Cheney, the US Vice-President’s daughter, has been given responsibility for bringing about a different type of regime change in Iran.
Ms Cheney, a 39-year-old mother of four, is a senior official in the US State Department, which has often been regarded as hostile territory by Dick Cheney’s White House team.
However, father and daughter agree it would be better for the mullahs’ regime in Iran to collapse from within rather than be ousted by force.
The question is whether democratic reform can be achieved before Iran becomes a nuclear power. That is the younger Cheney’s job.
In the State Department, she is referred to as the “freedom agenda co-ordinator” and the “democracy tsar” for the Middle East. “She’s fantastic and dynamic,” said a colleague.
There are, at present, over 25,000 civilian security personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. The average pay scale is $450-$1,000 per day, plus expenses. You can set up a pretty good retirement fund with that kind of cash.
Most contracts allow for a deployment of two to three months in the country, then two to three months home, most with a one-year commitment. Just read the ad offering $13,000 per month for “shooters.” This explains why people are not re-upping, but going private at first opportunity.
The advantage of “private security”? You use different rules and are not followed around by news reporters.
That’s how we may get out — replace all the uniforms with civilians earning big bucks, and operating under different rules of engagement.
Why do I have the feeling that the US is never getting out of Iraq?

Guys, things are snowballing. What the hell is going to happen?
But neocons are still neocons.
