   Since Joe Lieberman insists that rape victims drive through the night in order to find a hospital that will dispense emergency contraception, I propose I wonder if he would consider offering free coffee to those victims to help them stay awake. He could call it the Cup O’ Joe.

   AP – U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris planned to announce Wednesday whether she would bow to Republican pressure to abandon her bid for the U.S. Senate or continue trying to unseat a Democratic incumbent.

   Harris was scheduled to discuss her decision Wednesday evening on Fox News’ “Hannity & Colmes” political talk show. She scheduled a separate news conference for Friday in Tampa.

     it might be better if she stays — if she quits now, the Republicans can field (and back financially) a stronger candidate. Taking out Katie is like shooting fish in a barrel…unless you’re Dick Cheney…

       True, but if she stays, Nelson is a shoe-in. Part of me wants her to go away, far away.  But the other side says, stay and mess everything up and we can at least have one Senator that might possibly be able to remove the scars from his eyes and stand up for a change.  It is the worst of two evils, in my opinion!

   Just got done watching the Family Feud with my husband’s grandmother and one of the categories were “Where would you find a robber”? Other than the usual answers like bank and atm…one lady says…the White House? I am telling you…I near about had a heart attack! Too bad it wasn’t up on the board.

   This is disturbing.  

   Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said she and former Justice  Sandra Day O’Connor have been the targets of death threats from the “irrational fringe” of society, people apparently spurred by Republican criticism of the high court.

   She said the threats were brought on by the backlash against using references to foreign law in court opinions.
