Nah, my show is Lost, and god forbid I forget Andi and Mary, but sometimes Gilmore Girls.
My new fave is Sons and Daughters on Tuesday night. Screamingly funny and part of it is ad lib.

I’d like to have the skin of a baby, the body of a 19 year old, and the brain I have now. But maybe the patience of an 80 year old because I’m extremely impatient.

I have to confess that when I’m reading something from someone who is obviously smarter than I am, when there’s a mistake I think I just don’t get it.

You’re absolutely right. Gilmore Girls could counteract the regional NASCAR and pro-wrestling proclivity they’d expect you to have and let your sensitivity shine through. I let my intense dislike of GG color my judgment.
See you’d never expect a man in coverall and boots to know that. We have to be well rounded.

Report on Weekday One of Freedom:
Slept in and got up to work on a diary that I plan to post towards the end of the week having to do with internet abuse and Google. Spent some time trying to get contact information for Google executives, no luck, any ideas, anyone?
Did my job search routine but didn’t come up with anything exciting unfortunately.
Did some emails and lurked on the FBL for a while.
Finally took a shower and got dressed, got organized, and went to the crafts store where I wandered up and down the aisles in a very mellow state of mind looking for beads and yarn, mostly. Ran into former co-worker from job-from-hell, buying yarn also. What a bizarre coincidence, she was on her lunch break and turned bright red when she saw me.
Went over to Trader Joes to take pictures of the flowers, then when down to PG beach arriving on or around high tide and took lots more spectacular photos. Would post same, but Photo Bucket happens to be down for website maintenace at the moment.
Opps, just checked in and they are now up and running, so here is one example of the entertaining things the ocean was doing along the Monterey Coast at high tide this afternoon.
Got home around four, had my daily ration of chardonnay, ate dinner, watched KO and the French news and am just about ready for my nap now.
You are learning well grasshopper.

As for me, I only fart in public at the most inconvenient and embarassing times, never on demand to prove a point, damn it.
Ok, one time someone I know was in the store and had to expel some gas so she walked around until she was totally certain she was alone and let one rip. Then she noticed there was a man up on a ladder right next to her changing a lightbulb.
That would be my luck!

Yes, I said hi to her. She was not the villain of the piece, but she was definately colluding with the main bad guy. I’m still wondering why she turned beet red, as if she felt guilty about something or was embarassed. I’m just not that good at reading human behavior unless I’m watching a movie. Then (ahem) I always seem to get it. LOL!
I’m the exact same way MM. I always hear about reading people and body language. I missed those classes.

I was going to reply and then the cafe closed. I don’t have the particulars yet, but I’ve been in to the store to scope it out and have made my decision. Just have to bite the bullet. I’m a little freaked out that I’ll lose whatever it is I’m doing when I switch, like it’s all the camera … crazy yes? I’m really just full of giddyness when I think about it, makes me break out in smiles etc. And the official day is 20. 🙂

Great photo. I really like being around the ocean, need to plan a trip to Ca. Have a friend getting married over Decoration Day in Santa Rosa…close enough to go up north to the Sea Ranch area.
Maybe I should splurge and go.
Santa Rosa is gorgeous this time of year after the rains and before it gets too hot and there is some truly spectacular coastline around there. Not that I’m trying to influence you or anything. 🙂
