I find this too depressing to even analyze. I really want justice for Rumsfeld. He should not be allowed to retire in peace.

After the 60 minutes piece tohight, it will likely be much harder for any member of Bushco to retire peacefully.
I forgot about that. How’d it go?
I was impressed. The subject of the interview stated clearly that the admininstration intended regime change and rejected intelligence that went against their cause. The yellowcake story was retold including the forged documents. Really very impressive.

I wasn’t able to see the show either, but it seems to have been powerful.
I made the following comment in an earlier thread about the Sunday talk shows – but wanted to repeat it because it was a real mind-bender for me.
Thomas Friedman on CNN today said that the American people and foreign countries would never allow the US to invade Iran as long as Rumsfeld was in charge. If he’s right (don’t count on it – Friedman doesn’t exactly have a good track record lately) then I say keep Rumsfeld!
I am sure that these criminals will retire in peace. Like Kissinger (sp?), however, they won’t be able to travel abroad.
In peace, and with the boatloads of cash they liberated from the US Treasury…
Yup.
Business as usual.
Only a free media could change this. If the American people were told the truth about what has been going down in this country since the words “military industrial complex” jumped out of Dwight Eisenhower’s mouth then perhaps…STARTING w/Kissinger…justice would be served.
But since the people who run this game own the media…nope.
So it goes.
