Sleep well, oh sage of the Rockies. And do check out the Unbelievable Saw… they really are fun and do live up to their claims!
I’m following you shortly anyway! Well, figuratively speaking… you’ve had one creepy frog stalker for the night in the other lounge, and that’s more than enough!
I looked up THE BOOK on Amazon today, and may just order it tonight or tomorrow… very good price $8.50 US and reviewed quite favorably (as if that really mattered, since you have me pre-sold). Are you sure you’re not really the author, and you’re doing what’s called these days viral marketing? hehe
I’m a little worried that this is books is not going to live up to your idea of it. And no, I am in no way affiliated w/ it — silly guy! 🙂 Do you have a library where you could request it? That way, if you think it’s a waste of a tree I won’t feel so bad …
And besides, if I really hate it, which I doubt, I can always resell it at Half Price Books, since I already have a ton of stuff to go sell there anyway. Remember, you’re talking to someone who has an original 1970’s version of The Secret Life of Plants. And and dog-eared (pun intended) copy of The Hidden Life of Dogs, which is a wonderful book btw, if you don’t know it. Shameless anthropomorphization, yes, but I love it.
Doesn’t surprise me that fritillarias weren’t in there… they are beautiful and odd, but nothing truly bizarre about them. They’re just gorgeous and oddly shaped (mostly lamp shade type nodding blooms). Lords and Ladies are another type of arum, so that makes perfect sense they’d be in there.
Oh, and we Amerloques call that gobbledy gook, that’s ok, I’m fluent in it, so never a problem. In fact, one of my old friends from graduate school told me I was one of the few people in the world who knew the intricacies of Babblelonian… LOL.
Yeah, I kept hearing the reports of people pairing off. I didn’t see them, because I was just listening, but the Ducks’ announcer painted a pretty good picture.
Things are going to be pretty lively on Wednesday. After that, like I told Janet, I’m not sure whether I should root for the Sharks or not. The teams I really want to win always seem to fall short of the mark.
since I have another early morning, and a client presentation to make today, so I’ll leave whoever’s left with a plantiferous view from last year.
There are six different plants in this view… I’ll come up with some sort of prize for anyone who can identify them all correctly. No need for Latinate names, the vulgate will suffice.
Good night, all! And Olivia, I expect forthcoming wowzers of tulips any day now! (not so subtle hint) Since ours are past their prime and on their way out now … 🙁
And I promise to get new pics of THE PLANT tomorrow, since it’s forecast to be sunny for a switch. It has, I think, passed the 1 foot mark at this point….
That, indeed, is odd, I have to admit. But I’ve had this nagging headache all night and am dead tired from the day, despite my napping in the chair earlier. I keep vowing to get to bed earlier, but this damn FBL keeps me coming back.
Night, Olivia, Omir and whoever may be lurking! See you all tomorrow, I hope!
The exterminator (no not Tom Delay) has just left and the cafe is safe for two legged creatures and frogs.
to say goodnight to all our company …
goodnight everybody!
Bonne nuit, belle du Missouri! Résiste, à tout prix, de t’approcher de l’archevêque!
See you tomorrow, I hope.
Uhhh…about you sister’s #…?…:{)
Time to call it, a handful of ibuprofen to ward off the aches and off to bed.
A Foothills sunset from a couple months age for you
Night all, be well
Peace
Beautiful photo my friend, Thank you.
Sweet dreams of red-headed, freckly beauties dada … 🙂

Btw, I checked the index tonight for the fritalariahhhhh? and they weren’t there. But, Lords and Ladies are mentioned w/ the Arum.

but then probably anyone here who cares already knew that.
I was watching yes – Calgary really lost it at the end.
Oh well, all the most important teams have made it to the next rd — Ott, Col, SJ … 🙂

‘Superstitiousness’ is a serious business this time of year, and sometimes you have to do the reverse karma-thing … 😉

Wow, how novel — saying good night to IVG! LOL 🙂
Good luck w/ the presentation tomorrow. And I’ll look forward to an Arum update pic.
Sweet dreams!
