if he’s over 50, ask him if he ever lived in Denver and had a studio on South Santa Fe…looks alot like the work of a guy who was around here in the early to mid 80’s…used some of ‘his’ stuff in a couple projects.
I’ve met the guy, and his bio somewhere says he’s 29, if memory serves. But he’s doing a great business here. I even saw a three piece surround for a hot tub in the studio a while back.
if ya don’t ask. The guy’s name escapes me, but he was doing similar things then and the work on the site looked like a logical extension of it.

blue’s much easier than b4, but not as readable as the lt. grey…the new font is a bit heavier, and the sans serif really helps IMO. What if you lightened the blue a bit, or pushed it towards ‘lilac’…for lack of a better term.
Did you find the link to my test site? If so look at the ‘lilac’ color there in “links”, if not I’ll e it to you.

I gotta tell you…this neighborhood. People are firing off a lot of tech-9 rounds, it sounds like, and there is a damn lightning storm out. Meanwhile some drunk women is standing outside yelling for Harry and someone else, whoever the fuck they are. No police sirens yet, though.
if it makes you feel better, I just heard my dad-of-two neighbor drive up with his 3- and 6-year old and the 3-year old was screaming at the top of his lungs that it was a CPS-calling offense that they didn’t go for ice cream after dinner. Sort of reminiscent of a siren…
That’s pleasant. Still, I’d take it over high velocity projectiles winging around my neighborhood. You’d think they’d take a break in a downpour.
(the downpour, not the projectile) I was supposed to drive to Phoenix after work but heard on the radio that I-10 was closed down due to five accidents, two of them fatalies due to a dust storm that created zero visibility. We could really use the moisture… I guess it was a blessing in diguise as it prompted me to open the wine bottle and relax for the evening.
I can only offer a package deal. Some precipitation and a few drunken heavily armed gangsters. Take it or leave it. You can give me a few 115 degree days in exchange. And some good authentic mexican grub.
for recipes? As long as you have garlic and cilantro available I can make most of my concoctions work. Although I have to tell you, my nana, who was the best cook I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting, told us the key to her top-notch cooking was that she never washed her hands after going to the bathroom. (sick Mexican humor, but who could argue with the good food)
she just did that so you’d build up a strong immune system.
When I lived in LA, I learned that the best mexican food came from the places with the worst decor, and the least sanitary appearing conditions. In Philly it’s not too different. The best taco joint here gets a 23 from Zagats for food and a 6 for decor.
if you ever get to Mexico, the best tacos will be found at the carteras that cook their carnitas in the tire rims. yes, tire rims.
